Same here, bloody thing BSOD on start up had to repair! I think I'll turn off Windows 10 update if this happens again

I had that happen the first time it tried to install, I had to repair it afterwards. Thankfully this time it booted fine after removing the updates and I haven't seen any issues.
So it could have been worse I guess.
I wish they could just tell you want the issue is rather than give us a meaningless error code which could be any number of things

I actually had problem this morning taking ages for my PC to boot up and notice in Windows update " error 0x80070002", I finally fixed it by stopping WU, deleting "Sofware Distrubution" folder and enable WU after, check Windows update and it started downloading fine, non computer savvy people would not know what to do, says a lot when Win10 updates messes up your PC when they are supposed to do the opposite.

Just read the news that October 2020 Update is now live from microsoft site.

So nothing from Windows Update yet so I will download and install October 2020 on VMWare first then install on desktop later. Been very busy today went to shop to get my cat new litter bag and cat foods.
