Windows 7 or Windows 10 for Elite Dangerous

Hi All,
I have another thread ongoing in regards to my concerns on Windows 10 and the silly things it does like installing Candy Crush etc.

But I have started playing Elite Dangerous, and my question is - Windows 10 or Windows 7 for the best performance.

Pc Spec is:

Intel I7 3770
Asus Sabertooth Z77
16GB Corsair Vengence Memory
500GB Samsung 840 SSD c:
8TB Seagate Ironwolf Pro d:
Asus 660 GTX 2GB
DVD Drive
24" Monitor
G550 Keyboard
Gaming mouse (cant remember the make / model)

Windows 10, use latest version. Is better than W7 which is dead and unsupported.

Doesn't really make much difference with ED - some people report getting higher FPS with 7 but overall doesn't seem the case for everyone.
