Windows 7 Upgrade from Vista question

I had Vista Retail installed previously but purchased a student upgrade version of Windows 7. My question is, can I re-use Vista and install that key on another PC with no problems?

Aye, he should be installing w7 then burning vista to a crisp

Also, possibly. If you're that desperate for a an os on a second pc ubuntu would probably be more use the slow vista tbh.

If it's a student upgrade edition then you are only licensed for the upgrade, not a full new copy of Windows 7, hence the answer, no.

This, basically.
You'd have to purchase a basic copy of Windows 7 and use the Student Upgrade, well, to upgrade it.

P.S. Guys, if you have a decent enough PC, you can run Vista no problem

ive never had a problem with any operating system to be honest.

ill get windows 7 when the price goes down.
