The Windows Logo key has several combinations, eg. WLK+R = Run, WLK+E = Windows Exporer, etc.

Is it possible to create, for example, WLK+I = Internet Explorer?

Obviously, the shortcut key will only let you use ctrl-alt combinations. I thought there might be a way to do this in the registry.

    Cheers!
