    Hey :)

    Any ideas?

Bit more info...I have two svchost.exes running, one is sitting there idle but the other one is taking anywhere between 0% and 99% of my cpu time constantly, and is taking 49mb of mem....whenever I end it, I lose my sound....any ideas why this could be?

defintely dodgy that.... it's not uncommon to have 4 or more instances of svchost.exe running but they shouldn't be using all those resources.

i recommend a full windows update and virus check. :)
