    Hi all,

Recently reinstalled windows but now in the all programs list there isn't the usual shortcut to Windows Update, it's now Microsoft Update which i don't want. Can someone please post the target for the Windows Update shortcut :)

Like this one is for Microsoft Update:

    '%SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\wuweb.dll,LaunchWUSite'

Can i just have the Windows Update one please :)

Already searched google but couldn't find it ;)

    Thanks

Once Microsoft Update is installed you'll be directed there from Windows Update as far as I know. Why does it matter?

    Thanks for the replies.

You're right PinkPig, it redirects to Microsoft Update.

I was having problems with it on otehr machines not detecting the software installed etc. Seems to be sorted now though.

    Thanks again :)
