OK, I have a password protected RAR file.

I can't remember the password for it and so need a password cracker. I have downloaded numerous freeware and shareware applications but they all only recover the first couple of charecters or require word lists.

Anyone out there reccomend me one?

Its not possible to crack a winrar password just like that. The only method you can use is 'brute force' (testing every possible password combination until the correct one is found). Word lists work in a similar way. But as far as i know it isnt possible to simply extract the password from the archive.
