Having some problems setting up a wireless connection.
My housemate recently bought a laptop with wireless connectivity, now since i was the only one who used the internet i never bothered much with networks before, but i bought a wireless PCI card so that i could share my ADSL connection (with Eclipse).

The modem just runs directly off USB, theres no ethernet connection. I've got the PC and laptop to connect to each other, but i cannot share the internet for some reason.

I have enabled internet sharing, tried turning on/off firewalls and WEP encryption, but still when i open IE on the laptop i get nothing, despite the Wireless Network Connections saying it's connected with 'excellent signal strength'.

    Can anyone help with this?

Sorry to "bump" this, maybe someone just coming online now will see it and know how to help.

Seems like a simple problem, hopefully with a simple solution, but one i can't figure out on my own.
