Tis done sah, am just reading up on the prospects for the new folding client and seti being able to utilise the 480's interesting stuff, and scouting for gpu's on the bay nothing of any interest or priced sensibly :(

If you are the person that keeps outbidding me on the GX2's
Having trouble getting any at the mo, but I won't go over £90, but that should be enough as I have seen working ones go for £67 in the last month, so I still have hope..

I like the look of the hybrid 275/250, but that is a lot to pay for a crunching card, Im aiming to buy 2nd hand to keep costs down, so its out of my league, though Im hoping that I could get 2 x GX2's and have cash left over for the price of one of those new. That would give 512 vs 368 shaders at a lot less cost...

If you see anything interesting re seti and the 480's post the links here as there will be others that might find it handy...

I have not seen them go for so little unless you are willing to take a chance on someone with dodgy history.

£110 - £140 is the norm or are you talking about MM.

Since I started watching I have seen 11 go

I picked one up for 80
1 for 67
1 for 85
1 for 90
the rest have gone for between 85-122

to be honest, I hadn't really been looking at the feedback or history, just the pricing, so you might have a good point there...
Even at 120 - I still think they are the best value for points per pound spent, though if anyone disagrees let me know and I will change my buying stategy :p

I followed your comment from a while ago halz about burying the cases under a bench, have them ontop of worktop now - bit more dust but airflow and temps are better - as long as we dont have a heatwave i'm happy :)

More dust on the top of your desk than under it  - you must have some of that exotic dust only found in the North East :p

Edit: Oops you may have meant surface dust, thought you meant dust inside the case, my bad :D
