I've spent the last few days shoehorning Wordpress into my website so I can update it much easier and integrate it into social networking sites etc. However I have a problem I can't seem to fix. If you look at the front page of my site; http://www.afowler.co.uk/ There is a 20px gap at the top of the page (or there is in Opera 10 anyway), which seems to be caused by the PHP: <?php the_content('Read the rest of this entry »'); ?> line. I can't find any CSS line that might be adding the gap, so it seems to be coming from the php page. Any ideas why it is happening?
Just tried your site in Opera 10 and Firefox 3.5.3 and they both look the same to me. Certainly can't see any 20px gap at the top of the page in either browser. Have linked a screenshot I took. http://www.marclister.co.uk/ocuk/images/sitecompare.jpg
Cheers Marc, but seriously wtf! On Monday it wasn't there. Then yesterday it was there all day, and now it's not. How am i supposed to track down a problem like that? I wonder if it is a plugin that references something external that has changed. Hmm.
