I can see Spain putting 4 or more past all of these teams.

I will be placing £1000 on Spain to win this group. With odds of 1.27 I see it as a free £270 :p

Indeed, Spain and Chile to go through.

The minute you start seeing it as free money for Spain to win the group you can be pretty sure that they won't :p

I got Chile in the sweepstake here at work. Figured they had no chance til I saw the group. Then I saw that if they make it through, they'll probably play the winners from the Brazil/Portugal group. Oh well.

Tell you what though, Spain vs one of those two in the second round will be one hell of an early decider.

Weren't Chile Tim Vickery's (BBC's South American Footy correspondant) pick as dark horses? With Bielsa as their coach they'll be ultra-attacking and dangerous. Honduras won't be any pushovers either, I've been impressed by their players I've seen in the Premiership and Switzerland are well organised, easily capable of frustrating Spain and earning a draw.

Spain should easily win, but there's a distinct possibility this could be like France at the 2002 WC all over again http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_FIFA_World_Cup_-_Group_A

Just saying, you got more balls than me if you stick £1000 on this! :D

I'd put good money on Spains reserves beating England. Such a strong squad in all departments.

Well we've been linked with him a lot but it's probably rubbish, his value will skyrocket after the world cup in all likeliness.

formations arent confusing, once the manager tells you where you should be playing and your role its very simple. so long as you dont get dragged out of your role/position.

its an attacking formation. chile dont have any other option but to attack, so it might pay off.

Chile to score a few against Honduras due to their formation I reckon. Honduras 0-2 Chile at least. Switzerland will know they'll have no chance and stay dug deep. Spain 1-0 Switzerland.
