Yeah....Same as Spain, you expect so much and they blow it every time round

I think the Italians could do well this time round though....Been saying that for years though :D

Germany v Costa Rica: Germany 1/4
England v Paraguay: England 1/2
Trinidad v Sweden: Sweden 1/4
Angola v Portugal: Portugal 4/11
Brazil v Croatia: Brazil 2/5
England v Trinidad: England 1/7
Mexico v Angola: Mexico 4/9
Portugal v Iran: Portugal 2/5

France v South Korea France 4/9
Spain v Tunisia: Spain 4/9
Ecuador v Germany: Germany 1/3
Togo v France: France 2/7

Pays £550 for a £10 bet.. surely worth a tenner? Can anyone honestly see any of those being upset?

You are probably right, most of those favourites should win. Could see one of them being a draw though....

Well you should hope so at 55-1. I do this most sats for prem games, just guess the results normally come out at about 100-1 for your average 5/6 game sat.

i trade bet on betfair.com

a good tip is to bet on portugal to win the worldcup, they are in the easiest group and will surely progress to the knockout stages then lay the bet and get an early profit

I got him at either 40/1 or 33/1 about 3-4 months back.

Those could cause you some upsets.

I was gonna put a doubles bet on Ivory Coast and Serbia & Montenegro qualifying the group.

did this-

England vs Paraguay
Portugal vs Angola
Italy vs Ghana
France vs Switzerland
Brazil vs Croatia
Germany vs Poland
England vs Trinidad
Holland vs Ivory Coast
Italy vs USA
Brazil vs Australia
Portugal vs Iran
France vs Republic of Korea
Spain vs Tunisia
Germany vs Ecuador
Brazil vs Japan
Spain vs Saudi Arabia
France vs Togo

Winners first, £2 pays £800, not bad I though, but obviously not going to happen.

no i can't but the whole point of an upset is that you can't see it happening beforehand, i imagine at least 3 of those results will not occur.
