m8 wants my 6800GT do I sell and get X850XT pe powercooler one and sit tight for m2 skt then do new build, leaving current rig for son.

or is it not worth selling 6800GT to go to X850?

not really worth it tbh, but if you must then the x850 is a more gutsy card, its sheer power just man handles the 6800gt, BUT youll no doubt get people telling you to keep the 6800 for the advantage of having SM.3 support. if you dont mind skipping this feature, as the ATI card doesnt support it

Stick with what you have. Theres no point spending money on such an incremental upgrade as that. Wait until you can afford something more along the lines of a 7800gt or whatever the equiv' is at the time.

ye, and if your 6800gt is agp, you'll get alot more than £100 on an auction site aswell. But like said above, if you are paying for than £30 ontop of your sale funds, its not worth it.

Agp cards are becoming less and less and very expensive, so you could get over £100 on an auction site easy
