Not happy with the quality of my sound anymore. I have an old Soundblaster Live 5.1 Soundcard which supports Creative Inspire 5.1 Speakers (5100).
Don't want to spend a fortune, just want an improvement in sound to create a better gaming experience (Age of Empires 2, Oblivion, Call of Duty 2). Hopefully the speakers are OK and it's just a new sound card required.
I've seen the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 7.1 EAX card (OEM) on Overclockers for £35.19. Would this give me a big improvement in sound with the same speakers?
