im running my 2400xp at 10x200 at the moment. I used to run it at it at higher memory and core volts at 195x11 but its recently started crashing.

Would it be worth running at 9x223 if my 2x1gb Geil value would allow it?

Simply, a huge YES. The increase in FSB speed is what you're after performance wise, even if you have to reduce your multiplier by 2 or 3 (after that it starts to matter).

Don't, whatever you do, run the memory divider on anything except 1:1. Doing so will cripple the performance of an XP system
