LOL I've been wearing some £6 safety glasses (sunglass style) I got at a DIY shop for the last 6 years. At least they're Z87.1 ANSI impact rated

i wouldn't buy from ebay, not because of cheap ones (i prefer cheap ones), but because i find sunglasses don't always fit right on my face, so i need to try them before i buy.

Go for it, eBay are very strict when it comes to fakes of big names. If you did happen to get a clone pair, I am pretty sure eBay would reimburse you themselves and ask you to destroy the offending specs.
Agreed. The amount of fake stuff being shipped over from Asia is amazing.

I wouldn't buy them from eBay, likely fake even if they cost a reasonable amount.
Besides I have to agree they are a waste of money, I have never sat on a pair of sunglasses either but they do tend to get broken or lost in general. Why bother with the stress? just get a cheap pair and relax, or at least get a cheap pair as well.
