Does any body else find Jesper is quite hard to beat on the Pro circuit?

I'm using Lui Ping and Jesper returns are so quick and hard! He is the only player I have struggled to beat so far.....

If you are having trouble beating the faster hitters try using the ace serve. Stand about 1 + 1/2 steps off the side of the table and then use left of right spin depending which side you are on. For example if you are right of the table use left spin and vice versa. Use full power and full spin and aim to the opposite side of the table and close to the net. The CPU nearly always misses.

Jesper has a very hard forehand - but he doesn't move so well.

So my tips would be;

a) Keep the ball away from his forehand, keep hitting it to his backhand side as much as possible.
b) Move him a lot by using left or right spin just over the net, he'll eventually fail to get there.

Good luck! I found Jesper quite easy to beat - I had major problems with Luc though in the second tournament and now I'm stuck on Solayman!

I have got round Jesper now and I am now stuck on Luc who is hard to beat.

Not looking forward to the further 6 games!!

The All-Star circuit is going to be hard as nails.

Once you get the hang of Luc he becomes easier - he's just frustrating that's all.

Next up is Solayman who I found quite easy.

I'm playing Cassidy now - who is impossible due to the amount of spin she puts on the ball - it jumps off the table at virtual right angles some times!

Anyone had any more thoughts about organising the tournament?

I'll volunteer to do the admin as long as everyone gives me some ideas about stadiums, players, timings etc.

Random or player chosen players?

And which stadiums?

I figure matches are scheduled to be played within a week period, players to discuss timings themselves.

Okay here are some ideas for the rules, what do you think?

League format
Each player plays every other player twice (depending on number in the league)
'Home' player chooses stadium
Each player chooses their own in game player
Best of 3
First to 11
Each match must be played in the allotted week

Brilliant :)

All we need now is a sign up thread so absolutely everybody is aware of the league.
