hmmm thats a good point. Its just a thought anyway, but to be honest it does seem rather pointless. if it goes the way of the 64dd, i wont be suprised

Addons for consoles have almost universally never worked (32X, Mega CD, 64DD etc, etc) but they've always been marketed for games this is being marketed for next gen HD-DVD's so even if its not a big seller unless HD-DVD loses the format war its not going to be that much of a disaster.

hope the decoding is better than what I get with media connect from my HTPC which is half as good as purevideo
