Xbox wireless alternatives - cheaper option?

Just wondering if anyone's used a powerline adapter or something similar to hook up an Xbox to a home network. Something like the TP-Link AV200 200Mbps Mini Powerline Starter Kit Ver:3.0, for example.

Any other cheap and easy solutions that'll help avoid shelling out £60 on a Microsoft-branded dongle that could be had for a fiver in any other instance?

Thanks, that's a relief. Just a shame they don't do them in packs of three at OcUK, would like to get my desktop off the wireless network too... never mind. Thanks!

I've been using three TP-Link powerline adapters for about 6 months, they're superb. I use one of mine along with a cheap TP-Link switch so I've got my PS3, 360, Sky box and TV connected to the network through a single adapter.
