hi. got me one of these coolers to go on my board(see sig) i haven't fitted it yet but as i was just messing it i realised the cooler will have to face upwards(stupid design) and under it will be my 4870. what i want to know is has anyone else got this cooler in a similar set up and what will it do to cooling the cpu. edit; there is a 140mm in the roof of my case, will that help much. cheers.
If its anything like my 4890 you can feel the heat coming off the GPU board and that's what you're pulling through the CPU cooler. On the plus side, should keep the GPU cooler. Unlikely to really bother your CPU to be fair.
