its a challenge 25 rule.

If you look under the age of 25 but actually are 18, then they will serve you.

Its just a way of stopping under 18's buying drink, as a few can pass as 25

Sorry, my age is obviously getting the better of me, but what?

You look under 25, they ID you and you're 18 you get served, why was I refused if they thought I was 24?

You look 25, yet you're 17 why would they ID you?

This is a touchy subject for me; just turned 30.

How many useful years do I have left? Is it already over? I... can't ever be 40. I must find some way to stay 30 for a while now. Hear that, time? I need a break here.

I don't mind being asked to confirm my age because there's no easy way for employers to ensure that some staff won't make mistakes.

When living in NY at first it was quite annoying that everyone gets ID checked. But it does make a lot of sense, and you get used to it pretty fast.
