i'm fed up of all these touchscreen phones that do everything. i always buy into it and then a couple months down the line realise i don't need it for much, just the main things, phoning and texting.

    i need a phone that:

    - isn't that old (up to 2 years?)
    - good looking
    - flip phone or slide phone
    - nice interface, easy to use
    - can be picked up for under 100 bean

was looking at the RAZR2s but iirc, the interfaces generally were pants?

what was your best flip phone/slide phone?

nokia 8800 series or even the 8600. 8800 series apart from the artes have really poor battery life. They all look good and apart from the 8600 are built like tanks....

    LG U830 :)
Only reason I moved on was the total and utter lack of memory & useless MP3 player. (Typically the EU got shafted with the version with 180mb internal memory and no SD slot- Could have lived with the crummy MP3 interface if there was the ability to stick a decent amount of stuff on there)

I've got an N86 8MP right now, its over your budget but it's solid as hell.
