Sega Megadrive
Playstation 1 > sold for N64 Sold N64 for another PS1
Swapped a old GFX card worth around £40 for a PS2 with some games
Gamecube (good console but only had it for maybe 5 months)
Sold PS2 for £110 or something like that ( guy was really mad)
Playstation 4
Wii u (sold it) Bought another Wii u (sold it )
Nintendo switch(sold it after around 2 months)

Still have the PS4. By far my most used and best console ever owned. Pre-ordered it and got it Day1 Release. Still going strong.

Always had a gaming PC since inbetween PS1 and PS2 days. Did not have a console between middle days of PS2 until PS4 days.

Will for sure own a PS5 on release day

Polycon C4016
Atari 2600

Then I got a ZX Spectrum and it was home computers/PCs from then on.

I hired a Playstation from our local video shop for a week in the late 90s and played through Resident Evil. Also played an awful lot of Madden round the house of a mate who had a Megadrive in the early 90s.

Oh, we did get a Wii mostly for family gaming several years ago, but I barely used it (kids did get into a few games on it, though).

That's pretty much it for my console experience. I am somewhat tempted by the PS5 since I never got to play Bloodborne, Horizon, or Last of Us, which seem like things I would really enjoy. I've not heard yet definitely whether they'll be backwards compatability for this, though?

I have been playing on consoles since the NES /mastersystem days, but they were always my mates!

I went

Amiga 500 1988-94
Pc's only 1994-2012
Ps vita 2013
Wii u 2014
Ps3 2015 (I think)
Ps4 2015
Switch 2017
Ps4 Pro 2018
Ps5 2020! (tbc)

I also own the snes and ps1 mini consoles.

But that doesn't really tell the whole story. For example at uni I lived in a house with a PS2. So although I didn't own it I could use it whenever I want and was able to play games like gta3 and vice City. And before uni I played a **** ton of goldeneye and mkart 64.

Sega Mega Drive
Playstation
Playstation 2
Playstation 3
XBOX 360

I enjoy the nostalgia of doing this, so I'll give it a go. I'll no doubt end up completely mucking it up, though:-

Munchman tabletop console
Frogger tabletop console
(Honourable mention - my brother had the Firefox F-7)
Nintendo Game & Watch Donkey Kong II
(Honourable mention - my brother had the Octopus G & W)
ZX Spectrum + 48k
Amiga A600
Amiga A1200
Amiga CD32
A couple of Windows PCs, mid 90s, no gaming graphics cards but they could play Baldur's Gate II, Simon the Sorcerer, etc.
Atari Lynx
The original PlayStation
PlayStation 2
The original Xbox, crystal version
Xbox 360
Gameboy Advance
Nintendo Wii
DS Lite
PS3 (ironically bought to play Skyrim on...oh, those first few weeks of agony...)
2008 iMac - again, no graphics card but it got away with a couple of games
An Overclockers PC bought in 2014 which sadly blew up in 2017 or so, and was replaced by my current console...
Standard PS4
New 3DS XL

So there we are!

Over the years I've also played on NES, Master System, MegaDrive/Mega CD, CDi, Jaguar, Amiga CD32 through friends
