zalman vf3000 or waterblocks advice needed

    hi i really need to do something about the heat comeing from my 5870 cf,ive been waiting for these to arrive but now they have i jst cant make up my mind wether to order these now or get a couple of blocks,i know the blocks would be cooler but would there be much of a diffrence,the zalmans vf3000 would be cheaper and easer to install what do think guys

    There's always the Prolimatech or the Akasa Freedom Force. Personally i am not a fan of coolers that are restricted to certain cards like the Zalman VF3000.

    you do know the VF3000's take up 2.5 slots?

    so they might not fit on your mobo seeing as most mobo's only have 1 slot between each PCIe slot (so 2 slots per card)

    i have 1 slot in between my 5870 cf and enough room under the bottom card this will work i think

    It should do just fine, assuming no cables at the bottom of the mobo will get in the cooler's way.
