Sorry... it's pedantic i know, but it's not by Tarantino. It's directed by Robert Rodriguez. And so was Dusk till Dawn, which people also seem to claim as a Tarantino movie a lot.

And it's a B movie.

People believe Dusk till dawn is Tarantino because he's in it well for the 1st half.

Steer clear of Day of the Dead remake by the way. It may have Mena Suvari in it, but it's cack.

Recently, two of the best have been Doghouse and Zombieland (you can read my Doghouse review here).

I also noticed "La Horde" in the list there. I got to see it back in August, but unfortunately a review embargo was in place as it is yet to have its official premiere in France. Considering the OP's request, "La Horde" is simply the best recommendation I can give -- it's basically "Left 4 Dead: The Movie". Total rocketing action ride from beginning to end.
