Excellent SSD

This is the first SSD that I have tried. In fact, I'm running 2 of them in RAID0, purely for my o/s and programs.
They are in my completely new Core i7 (920) system.
Bench testing shows them to fly along at 470mb/s (read) and 320mb/s (write).
I have to say, that in " realworld" computing terms I can see good decreases in access times ( Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate opens in 4 seconds !) HOWEVER - everything else just seems that little bit faster than usual. ( Windows 7 - 64bit )
After using them for 2 weeks now I have had no issues, no crashes, no need for reboots, no program failures.
So far, so good.
Probably could have got away with just 1 of these beasts.
SSD's appear the way to go !

Unknown Brand to me but it does the Job

Price / Performance top marks. Solid State performance changes the way your OS feels. My Raptors have been replaced and I am not looking back.

Im confused

using both performance test and si sandra lite:

performance test

sequential read: 120.5MB/s
sequential write 150.4MB/s
Random seek 70.7MB/s

Si Sandra lite

Sequential read 122.2MB/s
sequential write 149.5MB/s
Random seek 71.2MB/s

I HAVE NOT GOT READ AND WRITE MIXED UP. my drive seems to be writing faster than it is reading. im not complaining at all because that's awesome by any standards. im guessing that the write will top 150 its just i have it in a SATA 1.5 port on my laptop.

Boots windows 7 RC with 25GB (ish) of programs in 22 seconds from pressing the power button to the OS.

5/5
