Geforce power

brilliant value for money gpu, exelent for mid level gaming rigs ( or higher end if you overclock or sli them )
and at this price you could afford to!

great cooling with the two fans, they are fairly quiet unless you turn them upto max

overall a great piece of kit, buy buy buy! :)

90 fps in call of duty 4 ( capped )
for the record 60+ fps in wow at max graphics ( i did oc mine )
around 30-35 in crysis ( bearing in mind how demanding that game is that's pretty freki'n awsome )

Lovely, lovely

I couldn't be happier with this card. I got it to replace my old 7950 and the difference, as expected, is night and day. Previously I could run most new games only in medium or low settings, and even then only at about 30fps. With this beast I can crank all of the settings for Fallout 3, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect, Oblivion (etc etc) to maximum without any obvious slowdown. With the latest Nvidia drivers, I've seen no graphical glitches and experienced no crashes as of yet.

As a caveat, and as others have mentioned, yes this card is very big. I had to remove a case fan to fit it in to my Antec Sonata case (luckily the fan was disabled anyway), so bear that in mind if you're considering buying it.

As a welcome ancillary point, the card runs very quietly - quieter, in fact, than the custom 'Quiet' fan I bought to fit on my old GPU, and that's at standard settings on the stock fan.

All in all, a wonderful card for the price. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Fab card-Big case needed

A great piece of kit. The cooling fans are big and quiet, the cooling even when overclocked means the card is barely audible.
Mine runs overclocked by a full 20% on core and shaders and 15% on memory. It runs Crysis Warhead on top settings with 4x AA on a 12x10 display. Great eye candy!
It needs 2x 6 pin PCI-e power plugs, a double size slot and good case cooling as it vents half its hot air into the case.
Bundle is good, all normal connectors plus HDMI, also 3Dmark Vantage premium unlock code in box.

The only negative is this things size. In my Thermaltake Armour Junior Case, I had to remove the HDD cage to allow the thing to fit. The annoying bit is the end plastic moulding doesn't cover anything meaning I've had to reconfigure my PC for a bit of unnecessary plastic fairing! That is an annoying design feature that reduces its score from a 5 star product to a 4 star card.
Great card, super performance. Well worth the money.

This card is excellent, I can now play Crysis on Enthusiast with an average of 40 FPS. It has blitzed through every game i've thrown at it so far, gaining over 100 FPS in COD4 and 5

This card is excellent, GTA 4 runs maxed out at 1600*900 with a Q9550 and 4gigs of Kingston hyperX @1066. The duel fan heat sink keeps this card loads cooler than other 260'ws with a stock cooler, it has never been above 60 degress even while under full load and in quite a warm room....and that's with fans only running at 40%! The EXPERTool software is some of the best gpu software i've used, easy fan speed control and overclocking which I'll definitely take advantage of in the future as right now this card runs anything fine. Trust Gainward and buy this card!

It's not hot

This is a great card. I upgraded from an 8800GT and the difference is clear. Framerates in crysis doubled, with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 4x AA and 8xAF it never drops below 25fps. Averages at 35 ish. Nice and smooth. I disagree with the review below, the card is very well cooled for a 260GTX. Maximum of 65 degrees while playing crysis which is very cool indeed. My pc is very spacious so that helps but its not a hot card at all. Yes, the fans are noisy at anything above 40% but i never needed them running any higer than that. Word of warning though, anyone with a biostar Tpower I45 motherboard, this card wont fit unless you removce the first row of jumpers underneath the pci express slot. I had to take them off altogether to get the card to sit right. Great card 5 stars.
