Aorus AD27QD Monitor

A high-end monitor with many outstanding features, the Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD can display demanding games at their best. Gigabyte have made a great monitor by focusing on three areas: the display panel, Gigabyte exclusives and ergonomic properties. As a result, the Aorus AD27QD is perfect for advanced gamers and streamers.

The Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD at a glance:

    • Screen size 27-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio
    • Native resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a refresh rate of 144Hz
    • LED illumination built in
    • Additional Game Assist Features (built-in crosshair, black equalisation, timer modes)

The Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD in detail

The Aorus AD27QD has been designed to offer amazing gaming experiences. Gigabyte have achieved this by integrating several advanced technologies into the monitor.

The Aorus AD27QD's 27″ panel has outstanding picture quality because it has 10 bit colour (8bit+FRC), HDR (high dynamic range) support, and an impressive refresh rate of 144hz QHD. The Aorus AD27QD is also compatible with AMD Radeon FreeSync, which keeps image lag to a minimum.

Gigabyte have integrated several exclusives into the Aorus AD27QD to make it even more useful. The monitor includes an Aim stabliliser function and a display generated cross-hair to assist players in FPS games. There is also a timer to help players manage time-sensitive actions. A system health HUD can also be enabled so users can keep track of their system's performance.

An ergonomically excellent monitor with a sleek design

Not only is the Aorus AD27QD great for gaming but Gigabyte have designed it with strong ergonomic properties and an impressive aesthetic.

The Aorus AD27QD's stand enables users to adjust the monitor's orientation according to their preference. The display can be set horizontally or vertically, it is also possible to adjust the monitor's height or tilt.

The the Aorus AD27QD also includes technology to help reduce eye strain. In particular screen flicker and blue light have been identified as sources of eye strain. The Aorus AD27QD addresses both these, it has been certified for its low blue light emissions and the screen is flicker free.

There is also the option to configure your mouse and keyboard to control monitor. This eliminates the need to make make adjustments on the monitor itself.

Aesthetically the Aorus AD27QD has a striking appearance with integrated LED components. These can be controlled by Gigabyte's dedicated RGB Fusion app. This means the monitor can easily be a part of an LED set up.

Cables are a bit on short side

Great monitor but had to buy new display cable and usb 3.0 Extension as one's supplied where just way to short for where my tower is from the screen. Other than that this is a very good gaming monitor.

G-sync compatible :)

Received this beauty and paired with a RTX 2080 Aorus Xtreme. Can confirm its G-sync Compatible but like MSI monitors, Nvidia haven't got around to officially certify it yet !
Very heavy ! Metal frame and subframe

Super monitor

I've brought this monitor from another site because over lockers run out of stock. The screen display is amazing with all tested games, there are no dead pixels, I've tested it on assigns creed odessey, ghost recon Wildlands mass effect and more. all on full graphics at max resolution. The panel choice they've made for this monitor is top quality, The backlight bleed is minimal "evened out"like an ips panel should be with none existing white or yellow patches like you would find in the Asus or Acer 700£ monitors, I've used the FPS settings in the monitor and reduced the brightness a bit. The software makes it easy to setup without having to use the joystick "USB connection needed".top quality monitor well worth the price.

Tactical First

Been looking at this monitor since it was announced. Negative points first, I have one stuck sub-pixel on arrival but it's in the top left hand corner and hardly visible. Back light bleed is only slight. I cleaned the bottom of the monitor and the Aorus badge peeled up and I lost the 'S'. It was just a sticker and not a badge. So 1 day into owning it, the monitor now says Aoru on the front.. for the price, you would think it'd be a proper badge.. All of the sidekick software doesn't work to what was advertised by Gigabyte. Positives. Amazing asthetics, great colour reproduction, great control system. No ghosting or overshoot that I can notice. Perfect for gaming. Feels like you actually there when paired with a top end graphics card. I really love this monitor, even with it's faults. I would have given it a 10 if it wasn't for the aforementioned issues. Overclockers.. where were my Haribos? :)
