The 890FXA-UD7 motherboard is designed to offer a stable, high-speed platform for delivering amazingly fast data transfer via the Gigabyte 333 onboard acceleration technologies. Featuring the world’s first USB 3.0 logo certified host controller from NEC Electronics, the AMD 800A series motherboards allow users to take advantage of super fast USB transfer rates of up to 5Gbps, delivering 10x faster data transfer compared to USB 2.0. Utilizing the industry's first Serial ATA Revision 3.0 solution via AMD SB850 chipset, the Gigabyte AMD 800A series motherboards offer native 6 ports of next generation high speed data storage devices support with data transfer speeds of up to 6Gbps. Coupled with RAID 0 (Stripe) mode, SATA Revision 3.0 enables a data transfer boost of up to 4x the speed of SATA Revision 2.0. The AMD 800A series motherboards introduce a unique hardware design with lower resistance fuses for ensuring lower voltage drops and providing more stable and plentiful power delivery. All USB ports also benefit from a 3x power boost for better power delivery to power hungry USB devices.

Awesome/Too big

Awesome board, awesome features, awesome quality, comes with watercooling block for the board as standard and a huge heatsink for aircooling which also dissipates heat from the gfx card due to its close proximity and with modding u can graft fans to bits of it. Would have got 5/5 except that it is XL-ATX which is not a recognised standard and thus board does not fit in the majority of full towers, not even e-atx cases, IMPORTANT: check measurements/forums before buying, hence 4/5.

great board

This mobo is huge, but has everything you could want for an amd set up.
Instruction manual was very good and it started up first time with new phenom 965, 8 GB of xms3 ram, crucial ssd and WD 1TB black drives.
Did not fit the huge silent pipe module kit, as wasnt sure it was for air or water cooling.
Mobo comes with x4 sata 3gb cables, x2 crossfire bridges, x1 ide cable a sata bracket and i/o shield.

Beauty!

I hate Asus sorry I know I won't be loved for saying that but every board I buy from them causes me problems. So I went back to my trusty old friend Gigabyte and as usual I wasn't disappointed.

Fantastic board rock solid, easy to overclock. Runs just about any ram you can throw at it. What more can you want?

As usual Overclockers were great and fast.
