GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming RGB 8192MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card (GV-N1080G1 GAMING-8

NVIDIA’s flagship GeForce® GTX 1080 is the most advanced gaming GPU ever created, powered by the high-performance, energy-efficient new NVIDIA Pascal™ architecture. Pascal enables truly game-changing performance with captivating sights and sounds, as well as next-generation VR performance that offers the lowest latency and plug-and-play compatibility with leading headsets.

NVIDIA Ansel Technology exclusive to 10 series allows you to grab a screenshot in supporting games such as The Divsion and upcoming Unreal Tournament from any 360 degree position, ability to increase resolution, use cool filters so that you can screenshot those perfect headshots and view them in a full 360 degrees.

NVIDIA VR AUDIO Works Technology exclusive to 10 series is interative audio so realistic path traced audio meaning sound bounces off objects just like it would in the real world further improving the gaming experience on the audio side.

NVIDIA GeForce 10 series is based on 16nm finfet architecture resulting in just 180W TDP power consumption for a graphics card that can outperform Titan X in many situations whilst being upto three times more efficient. Overclocking headroom is also exceptional with around 2GHz core overclocks being possible (not guaranteed) resulting in 20% and higher overclock potential.

NVIDIA Simultaneous Multi-Projection Technology renders multi screens in one path mean performance in Virtual Reality titles on VR headsets such as HTC Vive and Oculos results in double the performance of Titan X making 10 series the King of Virtual Reality and whilst being upto three times more efficient at the same time.

Good upgrade from a 970

Very pleased. Coming from a GTX 970 G1 (which is still not bad) this is just awesome. Playing Assetto Corsa maxed out in 4K 88fps and it looks great. Others like BF1, Ghost Recon etc all look and play very well.
Also bought with Saturday delivery for £469.

1080 G1 Gaming

Great card, got it running around 2050mhz and sitting around 60C when gaming.
Still to test for max overclock.
Paid £470 for it :D

2100+ Overclock amazing card!

What a card, upgraded from GTX-780 and a 16:10 monitor, to 27" 1440p 144htz G-Sync...I thought the cooler and OC I was getting was good...then I put an EK water block on it..and damn 2100+ mhz ....amazing speeds...

If you can afford it do it! you wont be disappointed at all..

Once again great OCUK delivery service

Outstanding job done by Nvidia!

This card is a monster, a card that is capable of destroying anything you throw at it. Will be getting my second GTX 1080 probably end of this year hopefully. If you're thinking about buying this card, think no more! You get what you pay for.

I'm trying so hard not to buy another one of these things! Phenomenal power that can't be stopped by anything I throw at it on Ultra settings at 4K resolution.

Absolute beast!

You get what you pay for

It is what it is.A hard core enthusiast's dream come true.
Purchased this with 4k monitor.Runs everything so smooth.Does not even break a sweat at 60 degrees.
Goes all the way to 2000mhz on Auto Over clock.
Does the job.

Extreme Performance

Putting the Nvidia driver issues to one side, the power of this card cannot be overstated. Whether its for VR or 4k gaming (or both), this card won't falter. Everything falls at it's feet so far. I can't wait to see how well it will perform in the games coming later in 2016 and 2017! I really don't expect to be upgrading this any time soon!

Beast Mode Engaged

Unbelievable performance . i moved up from a GTX-780Ti and this as expected blows it out of the water . works fantastically with 144hz monitor to give silky smooth performance and the Gigabyte cooler is quiet and provides excellent cooling .

very happy overall . well worth the money and will keep me going for a few years to come

Blows away even a Titan X clocked at 1420Mhz

Bought this card for review purposes and wasn't expecting much over my Titan X EVGA SC card in truth but works out roughly 20% across the board faster, which is a nice boost to frames at 1440P (my gaming resolution. I also did a full Video review for those interested.
Decent price for a GTX 1080 and Gigabyte have made a decent cooler.

Mind Blowing Power

Was lucky to be able to order this card whilst it was in stock for roughly an hour and half. arrived the next day in spot on packaging(thanks overclockers) and WOW never had a top end graphics card like this however I have upgraded from two asus strix gtx960 4GB's which isn't a bad setup especially on games optimized for SLI and on a 1080p setup. now ive jumped up to 1440p and I am getting like an additional 30frames at 1440p with this card than i was with the SLI 960's at 1080p. The price is steep but you get exactly what you pay for and I have absolutely no regrets. The only problem I encountered was the drivers consistenly refused to install from both geforce experience and even the software disk that ships with the card! you must grab the specific driver itself and manually install it without using any utilities! I havent got around to overclocking this card yet and tbh don't even feel the need to yet. Stunning performance.

"The Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming RGB is a heck of a graphics card. It ships fully loaded with an enhanced power phase configuration and is equipped with an RGB lighting system. Cooling performance is top notch and there is plenty of headroom for manual overclocking via software. ‘Fan off’ mode when idle and at low load ensures noise emissions are kept to a minimum."
