EDIT

Since my last comment I have realised that it's best to keep the fan on auto. That way it thottles up automatically and never allows the card to hit anything over 92deg (during stress test anyway). During a normal 1hr+ gaming session it wont hit much above 85.

Fast but toasty

Can't complain, upgrading from a 320Mb 8800 GTS what can you expect. Scores are roughly 20,000+ for 3d mark 06 and 230,000 for Aqaumark3 (a bit old I know).

WARNING, the fan runs at 40% by default, I would recommend upping that to 60%+ minimum. I've run this flat out for 10min on Furmark 1.8 (hot as hell) @ 55% fan speed and the temps were still rising past 105 deg C (220 deg F)!!!!!!!, idle temps are about 40-45C

EXCELLENT CARD

I upgraded to this card from a 8800 gtx XXX edition and i'm very pleased with my purchase, from what i can tell from various reviews the std gtx 260 has a memory bandwidth of 111GB/s but this card according to GPU-Z has a memory bandwidth of 140GB/s, very fast and stable card for a great price.

Great Card

Upgraded to this card to replace and ageing x1950 pro and I couldn't be happier.

The ability to play Crysis was a deciding factor in buying this card and can now play on very high (but with no AA) at 1680 x 1050 with a minimum fps of 28 and averaging about 34.

Keeps cooler than I expected with it never going over 65 degrees at full load and generally about 40 - 45.

A little bit more than some other 260's but worth the extra pennies.
