Fantastic

I brought 2 of these to replace my GTX580 because I play most games in 3D which pushes most cards to their limit.

I've had no problems with these cards, the temps stay around 60-70 degrees under full load, but the fans get quite noisy.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone, specially as they are only 5-10% behind the 680 and much less expensive.

In Crysis 3 at 1920x1080 I get between 60-90 FPS on ultra settings.

Another Great GB card

Upgraded from a Gigabyte 460OC.
Its a bigger card but but easy enough to fit into a standard case but i'm glad power connectors were on top.
Measured at around 2x faster in DX10 benchmarks, 2-2.5x faster in DX11. Far Cry 3 on max, smooth like silk.
Mobo is only PCI-e 2.0x, so glad of backwards compat.
On stock speeds, I won't OC for a while I think.
No noisier than old card, in fact didn't notice any difference when its been under load for a while. Never got above 70'

Very happy with it and once again Overclockers could not have done any better with delivery.

teething problems but now works great

I have a Asrock Z77E ITX system and tried putting this card in with no luck the BIOS would not see the card.

Updated the BIOS to (1.8 look on asrock's website) works fantastic.

Overclockers customer service = great.

Really good card

I upgraded to this card from the AuSUS GTX 560 Direct Cu II. This card is way faster than the 560. But the biggest thing I have noticed is that the Windforce cooler is much quieter than the solution on my 560 and also it is also only dual height rather than triple height.

Great card but stability issues will aff

This is an excellent card, on paper, and the cooling is wonderful.

Please make sure you update the BIOS to help with stability issues, but be aware that this card currently (August 2012) does not work in x16 PCI-E 3.0 slots and you need to downrate the PCI-E on your mobo BIOS.

Pretty good!

I'll be honest, I bought this card partly because it looks sexy with 3 fans. But mostly because it has a full size board (instead of the smaller 670 reference board) and an aftermarket cooler.

The performance is good. At absolutely full throttle (running GPUGrid on BOINC - much more load than any ordinary game), GPU-Z reports the following numbers after a few days of non-stop running:
Temperature - 68*C (with the room temperature being 30*C today)
Fan speed - 45% of max, 2430 rpm
GPU Load - 92%
Memory controller load - 36%
Power consumption - 70% TDP
VDDC - 1.175 V

The noise at idle is difficult to pinpoint over the other fans in the system. However at full load, they have a distinct whine that can be heard clearly over the other fans in the system. However it's really not loud. Moving a mouse across a cloth mousepad makes a sound with more volume than these fans. I can't imagine anyone hearing it when gaming. In short, I fully recommend it, especially at its price point.

beast

What can i say? runs great in bf3 and has not gone over 60 degrees with the fans on auto. And its quiet. I had to look and see if the fans were working it was so quiet. think my case fans are louder (not much tho) Marked improvement over my old xfx 6870 black edition :) Runs fine on my Antec truepower 650w and no problems fitting into an Antec 902 case. If you can afford this card... get it!!

Quiet as a mouse

This is a great card, its super silent even at full load, I cant even hear the fans when its benching, it overclocks, happy days good price

Awesome card

Purchased one of theese shortly after release. Incredibly cool and quiet running card, overclocked to +130mhz on the core, 770mhz on memory. Temps have yet to go over 67c in a case with very poor airflow. Soon im hoping to add another.

sweeeeet

well happy with this and the price i paid from ocuk was the best on the web... fact. Best 670 going IMO

Stunning Card

I have had a few Gigabyte cards with WF coolers (460SOC, 480 OC and 560ti OC) and this 670 is the best yet. Idles at 29c and 64c playing BF3 for hours with fan on auto running at 44% during gaming and no noise at all! This in the summer too. Performance is smoother and faster than 560Ti's in SLI because of the 2Gb of RAM. Who needs a 680? Some people do not like the blue pcb but there's no rational explanation for that is there? If you want a 670 then this is the one to go for especially with the UK support from Gigabyte.

Quiet powerful awesome card

Just got this today. Swift delivery and Haribo sweets in the package - a nice touch indeed.

This card is a monster and I can just about squeezed the card in my Antec 300 Gaming case. Beware to check the size and room before getting this card - it's very long.

After installing, had to re-install the driver again. Very quiet, I think quieter than my old card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 1GB. Running nicely so far from my Corsair CX600 PSU. I do recommend getting this card, you won't be getting buyer's remorse for buying this card - nay, massive grins on our chops instead.

WarpSpeedQuietIceCool

Had this card for about a week now. Tried: Metro 2033, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Crysis 1, Alice in Wonderland, Homefront, Dead Island, Dead Space, Mafia 2 and other good looking games.

Metro 2033 with absolutely everything maxed out on a 1080p monitor withv sync off= upper 40s in FPS

Crysis maxed with 4xAA adaptive v sync on=56-60FPS solid (during explosions)

Seeing as those two above are the best looking games I have, you can imagine that the others run butter smooth too (assassins creed at about 130FPS maxed out + multisampling enabled)

Gaming or idle the sound of the card sounds the same, and i have better than average ears.

Heat never rose above 62 degrees C.

Not overclocked (haven't needed to, it runs wayyyy better than my old nvidia 9800GTX)

my set up

i7 3770k 4.5Ghz
16GB ddr3 1600MHz
500GB HDD
Windforce 3x 670 GTX
850W PSU
27" Asus VE278Q 1080p

I'm not someone who is bothered by jagged edges, so because I mostly have AA off I get 70+ FPS in crysis; 50+ in Metro.

Great Card

Upgraded from a 4890 ,havent got overclock on it as it plays everything i play at the moment maxed out very quiet idles about 31 ,during games 50 odd ,even when i overclocked it and ran heaven still only got to 62c ,very nice fitted my Antec 300 case with mm to spare ,but went in nicely all the same ,very pleased.

MichaelM 2012-06-12

Best of everything

Perhaps not the most solid card to handle but once it's in... it excels in every aspect. Even in a 700D with poor air flow and SLI I'm managing to keep the first WF 670 under 70C during games like BF3 while the lower card is under 60C.
Out of the box they boost themselves to 1176MHz on the core and then I put another +75 on top of that for 24/7 use. The memory has not been pushed to it's limit either with +700.

genoma 2012-05-31

Quiet

I bought this with no intention to overclock, I wanted a quiet card under load and it's fantastic. I can't actually tell the difference between idle and under load from a sound point of view. Such a difference from the jet engine that was my GTX 285 and with superb performance to boot!

Ed 2012-05-28

Awesome

Bought this as part of a complete system build and im not disappointed, this thing flies and eats Batman:AC and Total War: Shogun2 on max settings. The fans are quiet which is great.

I installed this onto a Asus Maximus V Gene with Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU cooler. The Phanteks is huge and I had to reposition the heatsink from blowing air to the rear to blowing to the top of the case as the small fan retaining bracket touched the back of the GPU PCB. It was a tight fit but its fine with about 1cm clearance.

All in all top Graphics card and service from OCuk.

nive

I had a evga Gtx 670 sc before this and as it failed I got a refund and I'm glad I did this runs quieter cooler and is well made ! And is quick

Larry 2012-05-26

Nice and cool

Sits at around 60 degrees at full load compared to th evga 670 sc that was 75's and feels better made also looks alot better very good card.

mike buckler 2012-05-22

Better drivers

Further on from my following review i think i should piont out with the release of 301.42 drivers my cards are running great, a few hiccups here and there but much much better.

michael buckler 2012-05-16

Nice card

Got 2 of these from oc.uk, worthy upgrade from 570 sli, my 3d 1080p gaming has much more eye candy.

Only issues are voltages are locked and drivers seriously suck very bad, most games run worse than the 570's, some run much much better but there are random stutters even though fps stays at 60 in some games.
670's suck at the moment in sli, can't vouch for single cards but sli is pretty awfull, performance issues should be down to drivers, give it a few months

Alex 2012-05-16

Superb GPU

Amazing GPU. Manages to be a better performer than my 2x Asus GTX560 Tis in SLI and much quieter even without overclocking. It has a great cooler and overclocks very well to a max of 1350MHz core and 7350MHz memory in my testing. Rock solid, buy one!
