GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming WaterForce 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Virtual Reality is upon us with the likes of Oculus Rift already available and HTC Vive coming very soon. Valve have released a SteamVR benchmark which will test your system for VR Readiness, we advice customers to run this benchmark as the minimum specification to be VR Ready is a GTX 970 from camp NVIDIA. A GeForce 980Ti scores 10-11 in the SteamVR benchmark which is the highest score possible. So if you want the best possible VR performance than GTX 980Ti or Titan X is the answer for truly the best VR gaming experience. VR is a game changer for games such as Elite Dangerous, Portal 3, Flight simulator, Doom, Project cars and who knows the elusive Half Life 3 may make an appearance from Valve as being VR optimised, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Combining the high-end GTX 980 Ti GPU with Gigabyte's all-in-one water cooling system to bring you the most exhilarating gaming experience and beyond.

The optimised pump and the full coverage copper base on the GPU/RAM/MOSFET deliver the most efficient water flow and cooling performance at a lower noise level.

With a multi-colour illuminated LED with extra colour options and numerous lighting effects, you can now choose the right scheme for your gaming rig through OC Guru utility software.

Fast, cool and quiet. (28c idle / 50c load).

Core and memory overclock nicely with minimal effort.
The rad fan spins at around 1000rpm under load and is barely audible.
Mostly getting minimum frames rates north of 60 @ 1440p (high / ultra).

Short and fairly stiff and inflexible tubes may limit where you can mount the rad in some cases.

pros: -The waterforce is the only non-reference AIO (all in one) water cooled 980Ti video card available
-It's a water cooled version of the new Xtreme 980Ti boards, an even higher tier than the G1 boards
-14 phase power, 2x 8pin power, plus another 6pin and custom bios mode if you want to get really crazy
-Custom water cooler plate covers the ram and vrms, no other AIO card does this
-High clocks out of the box, overclocks like a dream
-The card is relatively light weight due to the cooler, not a giant brick and doesn't sag from the weight
-Near silence at all loads, fan noise is basically non existent, could not get fan to run over 1100rpm
-Nice solid backplate
-The lights go blinky blink

Cons: -The mounting screws for the cooler are a bit small, they do not work well with grommet/vibration dampening fan mounts
-The tubes may be a hair short for some, may not reach mountable areas
-The fan is hardwired into the pump
-OC Guru II is still in janky engrish
-A wrist band? Really Gigabyte?
-Requires a 3rd mortgage on the house

Other Thoughts: Personal experiences with my board (your experience may vary):
-76% ASIC score
-Incredible 1620MHz max boost clock(1.224v), with 8000mhz on memory
-66C max GPU temp with overclock
-No coil whine
-No pump noise

-GPU temp may be slightly higher than other AIO solutions due to memory and vrm coverage
-Installation may be tricky as you have to juggle the board and the cooler at the same time

-Gigabyte really knocks it out of the park with this one. No hassle silent cooling and incredible overclocking potential.

Strong GPU, short tubes.

Got this card over 3 weeks ago now, card never goes over 60c under load at MAX settings in GTA V - 1440p resolution.

Here are some performance indicators so far:

Temps (Min/Max): 21 - 59
FPS: 60 locked in all games so far @ 1440p
Noise: Almost inaudible, if fan on the rad spins past 40% you'll hear a slight noise, but you usually won't hear it if you're gaming anyways

The tubing is really short so the radiator will only reach the back of the tower or the top. I've placed mine on top as push so it's expelling case from the air and cooling the GPU with cool air from a fan at the bottom of my case pulling air in and up towards the exhaust and GPU rad.

It is quite expensive, but my god it's silent! If you like gaming at maximum performance with minimal noise, get this card.

Overall very satisfied.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming WaterForce

Stunning card, 1st the bad bits
Pipes a little to short if you want to put it to the front of the case, had to put it on the top or back exhaust, did back, not a deal breaker, software basic, lighting breathing option more like panting, that's it
Now the good
Fantastic card, everything almost high/ultra, 144 gyscnch, in ass creed syndicate very demanding, temps do not go above 63 c, games clear as anything, frames just above 65, if you use msi afterburner you can get temps into the - 55c mark, a bit pricey but def. a stunning card, and as always overclockers get the stock in 1st, great buy super recommended Thanks
