Product information:
Up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM can be installed in the four DIMM slots in fast dual-channel mode. RAM modules with up to a speed of 2.666 MHz are supported by Coffee Lake CPUs. The motherboard also offers two M.2 slots which provide connectivity with the chipset by means of four PCIe 3.0 lanes and support ultra fast NVMe SSDs. The NVMe protocol enables data transfer rates of almost 4 GB/s. This makes M.2 PCIe SSDs up to eight times faster than SATA 6G SSDs! Six SATA 6G connectors enable users to connect additional drives like SSDs, HDDs and optical drives.
The Gigabyte H370 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI comes with an I/O panel that offers the slim USB 3.1 Type C port and even a USB 3.1 Type A port. USB 3.1 ports are capable of achieving speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and are twice as fast as previous USB 3.0 ports! Four USB 3.0- and two USB 2.0 ports allow users to connect plenty of peripheral devices. A LAN port for the Intel-i219V LAN chip as well as audio outputs for the Realtek ALC1220 Audio Codec are located on the I/O panel. The board's connectivity options are rounded out with the addition of a DVI-, HDMI- and Displayport connector to enable display output from the CPU's integrated graphics unit.
Internally, the motherboard offers a USB 3.1 header, one USB 3.0- and two USB 2.0 headers as well as a TPM header. In addition to a 4-pin header for the CPU cooler, the board has three 4-pin headers for case fans. One of the special features of the Gigabyte H370 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI is the RGB Fusion LED lighting, RGB header as well as the WiFi module.
