Cherry Blue, Kailh Green or even Gateron Brown? If you want to use different switches in different situations, you no longer have to resort to a second keyboard. Glorious brings with the GMMK TKL a modular mechanical keyboard on which switches and of course Keycaps can be exchanged at will. Soldering is not necessary anymore!

The Features of Glorious GMMK TKL 80% Keyboard at a Glance:

  • Modular mechanical keyboard without switches and keycaps
  • Easy-to-remove switches with included switch-puller
  • Designed for switches from Cherry, Gateron and Kailh
  • Cover made of black anodized aluminium
  • RGB LED lighting
  • Standard TKL ISO button layout
  • Full anti-ghosting with N-Key rollover via USB

Freedom of choice of the switches

The Glorious GMMK TKL follows an interesting concept: Instead of forcibly removing or replacing the switches on the favorite keyboard with power or soldering iron, the switches from Cherry, Kailh, Gateron and Co. can simply be pulled out and replaced . After hours of typing, just replace the Browns with blues and heat up the enemy on the PC. Or just decorate the WASD buttons with Cherry Reds, Enter and Space buttons with blues and the rest with Browns. The modular GMMK Full Size offers countless possibilities to customize the keyboard.

For this, Glorious also provides the right tool. Enclosed are both a Keycap and a Switch-Puller with which all 88 buttons of the GMMK Full Size can be completely replaced in less than 20 minutes. Otherwise, the keyboard is extremely high quality processed. A chic bezel made of black anodized aluminium not only gives the keyboard a classy appearance, but also ensures high stability in the heat of the battle.

Professional keyboard with excellent features

Of course, the Glorious brings GMMK TKL all the comfort of a professional keyboard, such as full anti-ghosting with N-key rollover via USB, in which no key entries are lost, no matter how many are pressed simultaneously. In order not to suddenly sit in front of the bright Windows desktop during the battle, the Windows key can be deactivated. The keyboard is connected via USB 2.0 and the completely modular, about 180 cm long cable with the textile cover.

RGB Lighting

The RGB lighting including 18 effects can be activated by key combination and individually configured and saved in a profile. Optionally, you can use the enclosed software. Special drivers are not needed, the GMMK TKL also works well on Mac OS X and Linux.

Best keyboard I've owned

by Lan Dempsey star star star star star

I've had many keyboards over the years, mostly cheap ones but not all, my previous mechanical was a cheap jobbie at around 40 and it was OK but compared to this it felt really cheap. This might have worked out around 120 once I added keycaps and switches, but it is by a long way the best keyboard I have owned, the body is sturdy and has a nice finish, the effects for the lighting are great and the basic software allows you to customise at a per key level and has good presets available also.My main reason for choosing this keyboard was that it is basically fixable without having to tear it down, very simple to replace switches and you customise the switch layout to suit your preference and when compared to most good quality mechanical keyboards it is the same price but here you can choose exactly what you want not having to settle for what they specify I found particularly with tenkeyless layouts that I couldn't often find the combination I wanted in the ISO format, I chose brown switches because I like the tactile feel but with the reduced noise compared to the blues which is what was in my previous keyboard, it is really nice to see just how many different switches are available.
