Can't recommend enough

Despite some of the other reviews, this for me has been an excellent addition to my setup. It was initially bought to replace an old 23" 1920x1080 monitor, what an upgrade it was. The increased resolution and physical viewing area is a surprise even coming up from 1080 res. I haven't found the build quality to be cheap of flimsy at all, the ONLY niggle is the fact the colour needs a little calibration out of the box. It makes a brilliant monitor for gaming.

Fantastic monitor for a great price.

Awesome screen, shame about the stand

Absolutely stunning display and I'm very pleased with it but the stand let's it down. It does hold the monitor but, as others have mentioned, is it non-adjustable and tends to lean forward. For the display 5 stars, for the stand 3 so on average it's worth 4 stars

awesome screen

very nice screen.
this is my central screen in a triple 27" setup, the two side screens i am using the DGM 7ips panels sold here.
each screen is in 2560x1440 and this is definitely the better quality picture of the 3. a lovely monitor.

No Regrets At All

You WILL NOT regret buying this monitor, it does not disappoint, I will point out which others have not said, this screen does have pitch adjustment, which I have found more than adequate.

The Colours on this screen after much messing around with my Quadro settings, are amazing, the screen picks up every detail of my texture maps in Maya, I can focus in on finer details which I wasn't able to do with my previous monitor.

My one main criticism is that the monitor only has buttons for brightness and nothing else, everything else I have had to modify from within windows.

All in all, Overclockers you do not disappoint.

Great Panel but not great overall

Fantastic panel at native res, miles better than 1080. It's just a shame that the build quality is poor. The first one I ordered was RMAd as the monitor was leaning foward and as they don't tilt, there was no way of correcting it. Also, it had a stuck pixel and the casing had tiny scratches, as if it had been used previously. The replacement I received has a dodgy power brick; the lead is loose causing it to switch on and off at random. Overall, Great service via OCUK but would not buy one again as RMAing is a faff. Even at 330 quid these are cheap, but it's still a fair amount of money for an inferior product

Got there in the end

I'm only giving 4 stars as the first Hazro I had was DOA and it took a while to sort a replacement (not really OcUK's fault mind). Once the DOA monitor had beem RMA'd, it was quickly sorted and a new one dispatched.

If I had recieved the second monitor first, this would of been a 5 star review! It's massively impressive, lovely warm colouring and no ghosting i've noticed so far in gaming, which I was concerned about. Zero dead pixels, a great, great buy for the money. Thanks OcUK!

Oh, and to the guy saying it has no pitch adjustment; it does, it's just a little stiff. Don't be afraid to give it a gentle tug from the top whilst holding the base!

Beautiful Panel, shame about the build q

Having tried out DGM IPS-2701WPH, I knew that 27" 2560x1440 was lovely but just couldn't stand the glossy screen (too many distracting reflections). Also, the white LED backlighting meant a thin panel but the colours looked a bit out and shadow detail was lost at any setting (eg couldn't see peeps hiding in the shadows in CS Source!)

Like another, I've come from a great Dell 2405 with some trepidation. The Hazro HZ27WB uses the same panel as the Dell u2711 and with strong anti-glare (but still sharp). It's also a bit brighter than the DGM and like the dell, uses CCFL for paper smooth colours which I prefer. Also, no scalar, no lag. All of which = win!

Cons: can't see BIOS with my 5850 cf Korean models. Stand is poor (will get MDM04 stand though for

Decided to upgrade from my ageing Dell 2405FPW, and decided on this. I was a little apprehensive, moving away from the dell, but I haven't been disappointed.

Picture is fantastic, and colours are rich, although you will need to calibrate your system accordingly, as there is no way of altering colours on the monitor itself (all you can change is the brightness).

Looks great at native res, and games looks and respond brilliantly.

My only criticism is that, contrary to the information that OcUK provide, you cannot adjust this monitors height or pitch. The stand is fixed, and there is no way to adjust it, hence the 4 stars.

Other than the above, monitor seems great value for money, and would highly recommend it!
