Super Monitor!

144Hz makes such a huge difference. The pictures on OCuk don't justify how nice the monitor looks - I was a bit sceptical at getting my next monitor with a glossy frame but it does bring the picture out very nicely.

Have played a handful of the latest games on it and it looks incredible, haven't even changed any of the monitor settings yet as the colours are all great by default! This is the biggest monitor I have bought, and the added inches are always... always a nice surprise!

I saw a few comments about difficulties with adjusting the stand of the monitor. At first I couldn't see what I was doing wrong as it is locked in the lowest position - as well as pushing the stand button in you need to pull the monitor upwards as shown in the instructions. Once you get it out of its lowest "locked" position, you can then freely move the monitor up and down on the stand, it is only the very lowest where it locks into its base position.

Would recommend to anybody looking for the best TN/LED monitor. Very pleased.

A great monitor, well worth the price

I received the monitor earlier today and boy is it big! The stand is very sturdy. The height adjustment mechanism took some getting used to (it is locked in place at the bottom and you have to use quite a bit of force to budge it) but so long as you don't put it all the way down again (which locks it) you will only have this issue once.

I would say that I was not aware that HDMI does not support more than 60hz refresh rate, you need a DVI Dual-Link cable (which is provided with the monitor, but was not long enough for my setup) or a mini displayport cable. I had to go to Maplins and quickly buy a DVI-D cable. Do not use HDMI for this monitor unless you intend to stick with 60hz refresh rate! 120hZ Televisions operate differently to 120hZ which was the cause of my confusion.

I have played around with the colours but just stuck it back onto default for now, it seems the monitor gets a bad rap for its default colour settings but I can't really notice anything wrong with them. The speakers are good on this monitor, but who is really going to buy this for the speakers.. :)

No dead pixels and fast delivery, would recommend.

Exellent Gaming Monitor

Going from 60hz to 144hz is excellent! what a difference it makes in bf4. the monitor is solid! once set-up correctly, it look really nice! as for the comment about high adjustment, you need to push the monitor down (which is spring loaded} then push the button in ;)

Highly recommend this monitor.

Height adjustment mechanism problem

This may be a one off - when I started assembly of the stand, I discovered that the height adjustment mechanism was stuck. There is a button at the back, and according to the instructions it just needs pushing to allow height adjustment. Unfortunately on the monitor I received, this was stuck - there was no 'give' in any direction. So back in the box it all went and I requested a return on the same day it arrived. Shame as I was really looking forward to setting it up.

a big upgrade

had this one day and its great , yet to set up colours to my liking but coming from a 75hz 17" display this is amazing and makes games more enjoyable and no dead pixels

Over my expectations!

This is a great valued item, with a professional seller and delivery service.
I am a frequent buyer of Overlockers, and still happy.

The item has arrived on time, in immaculate condition, like when I bought it in a shop, thanks DPD.

Iiyama Prolite GB2773HS-GB1 144Hz 27" Widescreen LED 1MS Monitor - Black is absolutely fine, easy to set, colours are fantastic, resolution refresh rate is as written. NO DEAD PIXELS were found, HAPPY!
I have used AMD Catalyst Center to set colours on it, I do not really need to make anything else, colours are fantastic, Other people might be needed more, (they can as it was written earlier) it is good enough for me.

All together For this price I have got a very good gaming monitor, a professional seller and a very accurate delivery service! THANKS!

Great Monitor For Price

I bought this monitor recently and i was unsure at first because i hadn't seen many reviews about it. When it got here the first thing i though was "wow that's bigger than i expected". The picture quality is great although you do need to change some of the settings to get the colours perfect but most people normally will anyway because it is down to preference. For the price i don't think this can be beaten.

The best gaming monitor for the money?

I bought this screen a month ago (unfortunately before it was available at OCUK) and am very happy with it. The build quality is better than expected for this price range and spec (notably the stand, which is sturdy and doesn't wobble).

Being a TN panel it has taken me many hours to get the settings right but think I am happy now. I put it in game mode and then adjust the contrast and saturation in AMD/NVIDIA control panel, as this screen doesn't have a great deal of adjustable settings - plus the touchscreen controls can be a bit of a pain to use, especially in the dark.

Apart from those minor niggles, it is a great screen and coming from 60Hz to 144Hz in BF4 is a game changing experience for me - the difference in fluidity of the image and mouse movement really feels as if you have just installed a more powerful gpu. A few of my mates have seen it and now have no choice but to go 120/144Hz for their next screen upgrade!
