Love this card

Upgraded from a GTX 690 to this beast.

Fans are silent, you can only hear the radiator fan slightly when you a playing the most demanding of games and as other people have stated this card does not go over 60c .

While using desktop, the fan on the board completely shuts off and the fan on the radiator slows right down... the slowest ive ever seen a fan spin. meaning there is no fan noise whatsoever.

The colored LED that indicates temperature goes from Blue(low load), Green(medium load), Red(high load)...... I have never seen it in the Red! this card has laughed at everything i have thrown at it.

So your now wondering why is gave this card a 9 out of 10.... there is some coil noise and a slight clicking sound when the card is stepping down from high demand. i think it is the pump motor slowing down.

Running a 40" 4k screen, runs most games at very high/ultra at 4k and 60fps.

Idles at around 30c and never goes above 60c and virtually silent. I can't recommend this card enough.

GeForce GTX 980Ti Hybrid Black Edition (C98TP-1SDN-N5H)

Stop reading reviews and buy it!

This is one of those "Shut up and take my money" GPU's! It's a beast and certainly beats the GTX780Ti HerculeZ DHC I had!

Having a single card system, "some" games won't play decent frames (60+) with ultra settings @ 4k, i.e. really modern or intensive game engines like Arma 3 with full distances, or CryEngine 3+ games.

But for everything else it's perfect, and I doubt it'll be beaten for sub-4k gaming in a single card rig.

The best graphics card I've ever owned.

It's super fast, runs super cold, and looks good.

You can't remove the fan, though, without unplugging the power from the VRM fan, which also stops the lights. I imagine you could just cut the cable from the fan if you really wanted to get rid of it (it's bright white and hasn't got the best performance by the looks of it - however it is quite quiet) but if you did, you would need to make sure that the vrm cooler is getting power. It is cheaper than the EVGA or Gigabyte models, but that is the trade off. I believe on both of those you can actually change the fan. It's really annoying but atm I don't even use the fan for the GPU, but instead use EK Vardars.

Constant 60 FPS in The Witcher 3 at 1440p. Probably could keep up with Titan X for 4K performance too. And even when it's on 95+% load, the temperature is only 66c, with 2x fans, one on each side, both intake into my case, the enthoo evolv m-atx.

Solid buy, but if you want to replace the fan it looks like quite a job. Would liked to have seen a quick detach cable.

Have two of these in sli
temps im looking at are 23 idle
load 40 /50 but do have cosmos 2 case to house them

5 on 5

first thing on full load never more than 50 c second you can do whatever you want for more if you want 5 stars :)

I had been watching the Nvidia / AMD battle with interest, genuinely waiting to see which card would be best for me and my 1440p gaming system. Finally took the plunge on this card as I wanted a hybrid, little but concerned on the brand as I'd always bought MSI & EVGA cards.

I cannot adequately put into writing how good this card is, boosts up to 1400mhz out of the box, it's absolutely silent ( this genuinely scared me for a second, thought it was DOA), I've thrown everything at it now for 6 hours - Ultra 1440p Shadow of Mordor, GTAV & Dragon Age Inquisition, and temps don't go above 55 degrees.

My system - 4770K (4.4ghz) - Z97 Ranger - 850w power supply Gold and Corsair 540 =

Shadow of Mordor Ultra 1440p average of 74fps
Dragon Age - Ultra 1440p average of 82fps
GTAV - Ultra 1440 average of 73fps

Wouldn't usually post a review, but I know at the time of writing, reviews for this card are hard to find. So in conclusion, this card dominates games at 1440p in Ultra settings, at ridiculously low temperatures.
