Its a Super Powered BEAST

Just upgraded from a Core i7 930 quad core to this.
The difference is day and night.
3D mark score tripled, now getting 6435 with PC mark 8 Creative 3 accelerated.
It flies through Folding home, finishing work units in record time
Media encoding is rapid.
Photoshop and lightroom are much quicker.
Running this with Asus X99-A mobo, watercooled, easily hits 4Ghz, will push more soon.
32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengance 2400Mhz and R9 390 8GB

If you work with digital media (Adobe CC) this CPU is a fantastic bit of kit.
Exports Lightroom images really fast
Photoshop is really fast

Its a proper beast of a CPU

Great CPU

Great CPU, runs cool and stable with a 4.6 overclock. if you can afford one of these its worth is especially if you are planning a multi-gpu system as it supports a lot more pcie lanes than any of the predecessors. Very happy with my purchase.
