Product information: GeForce GTX 980Ti "Hall of Fame 8Pack Approved Edition" 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Virtual Reality is upon us with the likes of Oculus Rift already available and HTC Vive coming very soon. Valve have released a SteamVR benchmark which will test your system for VR Readiness, we advice customers to run this benchmark as the minimum specification to be VR Ready is a GTX 970 from camp NVIDIA. A GeForce 980Ti scores 10-11 in the SteamVR benchmark which is the highest score possible. So if you want the best possible VR performance than GTX 980Ti or Titan X is the answer for truly the best VR gaming experience. VR is a game changer for games such as Elite Dangerous, Portal 3, Flight simulator, Doom, Project cars and who knows the elusive Half Life 3 may make an appearance from Valve as being VR optimised, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Ti.KFA2 Hall of Fame edition cards are born from top quality components and exemplary innovation to achieve one sole objective—to break records. The KFA2 GTX 980 Ti HOF exemplifies this and sets the definitive standard as the world’s best GTX 980 Ti graphics card.

The true advantage of the KFA2 HOF series cards, however, lay in their completely unbridled potential for overclocking—and the GTX 980 Ti HOF delivers with advanced power systems, 7 heat-pipe triple fan cooling, and KFA2 Hyper Boost hardware overdrive technology. Dual BIOS allows for risk free updates and customization, and the HOF’s signature white PCB holds a commanding presence wherever hardcore gaming enthusiasts gather.

Runs really hot and too heavy!!

Fantastic card for performance!!.......however for less money i feel you can get the same performance with less issues.

Like other reviewers i have had to build a customer support for the GPU as it was bending down immediately after installation, the card is just too heavy!
Also runs damn hot, i have an Phanteks Enthoo primo case which is fantastic for cooling but i still reach temps of 80+, meaning no SLI unless i watercool.

Performance wise it was everything i wanted, plays all games maxed out at 2k!

A bit too hevy

Great card, I had to change 2 of them, first one was heating badly and the monitor used to swich off randomly with the second one after a whyle the image started to break appart. I am at the third card and it runs beautifuly, long wait but definetly worth it.I know it sounds terrifing but I am a very lucky person when I buy stuff, I do recomand it. My rig 4.6Ghz 6700k 16 Gb RAM at 2666Mhrz.

awesome

ok hear go's
I too have the case NZXT H440
my mobo is MSI Z170A XPower Gaming Titanium Edition .
and it fits fantastic.
yes the card is quite heavy but i don't seem to have any dipping twisting ect.
it runs cool on max load. looks amazing, has all the power you need
so in my opinion anybody having trouble with fitting And heating, It's bad PC building on their part.
I have posted pictures on OC forum , feel free st see how not twisted it is.
this card is pure power and a fantastic build quality worth every penny , esp with the great customer service for OC .

Great BUT in SLI it is HOT!

Top quality but two bad things

Card is great and runs everything I throw at it, however the pictures are misleading. I ordered this card as I went for a black/white theme. and the card is an "8 pack approved" card which actually has a grey back plate. that was one annoying thing. Second thing for me is I had to mount my card on the bottom x16 slot as the card is that chunky it wouldn't fit in the top one as it was hitting my cpu cooler. I believe this has caused my gpu to suffer from heat. It's in an NZXT H440 and it's about 8cm above the psu shroud. Had it running at 84 degrees on unigine valley, and max of 75 degrees on GtaV. so quite hot for me :( and that's not even overclocked. so I guess my chances of overclocking are slim to none

Great piece

Totally agree with scott t, the weight is too much, that pci slot is suffering a huge load and the card is bending a bit. It's scary.
Apart from that what a beast... The temps are ok, 74ºc under full load and it is beautiful

scott t 2015-11-22

Great apart from one thing

I have upgraded my whole pc to I7-6700k overclocked to 4.3GHz and combined with this GPU i get over 100fps on GtaV and Whicher 3. With the card only getting between 48-58 degree. straight out of the box.
How ever i can not give this GPU a 10 because of the weight. i had a built a custom support to stop a slight twist but i would say its worth it in the end.
