Amazing Memory

I recently built a new PC with this memory and my games are all running in ultra settings, blazingly fast! The memory has fantastic build quality, you like to hold it with your hands lol, I didnt want to put it in my case because I just liked looking at it haha...and to top it off it was running at the full 2400mhz as soon as I booted into windows 7 so 5* memory at this price!! :)

Take time , But tweak awesomely

To follow my previous review , in time these have began to perform. They just need a little getting used too. Yes the stock settings on these are average , but using the newer boards of today you can fine tune the lower and main settings to get some really good top range performance.

I have since managed, 11-12-11-27-1T @ 2600mhz 1.7v with really good sub timings. My motherboard has a feature that tightens them up with a click of a mouse. They are rocking , exceeding 29.6mbs a second bandwidth and scoring very well all round.
So ram is very good , clocks well and tighten down extremely well. Good set for a enthusiast who like to play......

Recommended and redeemed to 5 starts

Decent memory - Not the best

I bought these Kingston beast memory believing that they would be "like name , like nature ". This is not totally the case. I replaced 2133mhz memory c10 with these 2400mhz C11 due to them being on offer. I expected improvements of some sort and I didn't really get any. With regards to speed mhz figures yes, but memory performance is overall slightly less. I used well known benches and these preform well, as expected just not as good as the excellent 2133mhz kit it had before. Doh :-/
I now have these 10-11-10-27 1T 1.7V @ 2400mhz. I did also achieve 2600mhz so clocks well @ 11-12-12-30 1T, but the performance dipped and was worse overall.

The timings on these are not the best , the sub timings are quite high so if your a pure enthusiast then there maybe better 2400mhz kits available for pure number performance. These are good , and do the job once you have tightened the timings a bit, they'll be fine in any system. Just for me anyway ,, cant see anything "beasty" about the performance in general. Just good and what I would expect.

Looks totally amazing though !! Black PCB on mine .... ;)

Such a silly price!

Running @ 2400 (11, 12, 11, 31) in a Asus Maximus V Gene Z77 motherboard no dramas rock solid.
Was able to run at 2133 (11, 12, 11, 30) in a MSI Z87M-G43 motherboard anything higher and the computer would randomly restart. Nothing to do with the memory, all down to the board.
Did not have time to tweak to see if l could have got it higher, however for the price getting these Dimms for such a low price makes them a steal.

Both boards where running 4 Dimms.

And to boot a nice packet of Haribo's :)
