The Lian Li DK07 is both a gaming desk and PC case. Manufactured from premium build materials, this PC case desk is incredibly strong and able to support dual-system gaming or professional PCs. The internal layout utilises modular brackets to enhance compatibility and make installation easier – even with a dual system. What’s more, there is ample support for cooling hardware, storage drives, and gaming components. Plus, with electronic height adjustment controls, wireless charging, and cable routing, the Lian Li DK07 is going to revolutionise your gaming set-up.
The Lian Li DK07 is incredibly versatile, serving as both a gaming desk and a PC case. As a desk, it offers a large surface area to work from with a tempered glass panel providing a fantastic view of the hardware within. Overall, this desk is constructed from premium, robust materials, enabling it to support up to 100kg extra weight in hardware and peripherals. The frame is manufactured from aluminium and there are stabilisers anchoring the case extrusion to the legs, creating a strong and stable desk even when installing heavy dual PC systems.
To enhance ergonomics, the Lian Li DK07 is height adjustable. There are electronic controls to seamlessly increase the height from anywhere between 676mm and 1162mm. The desk’s current height can be displayed in centimetres or inches and adjusted incrementally with the up/down arrows. What’s more, you can save three pre-set heights using the memory function and then easily transition between them as needed. To prevent any accidental adjustments, there is also a safe lock feature.
The Lian Li DK07 PC case extrusion can support either a single or dual PC system. Installation is simple, thanks to the modular brackets, and there is ample support for high-end gaming hardware, storage drives, and cooling components.
The main PC components mount onto a motherboard tray with modular cable concealing shield covers and a connected rear panel for expansion slots and the motherboard I/O. This tray can support motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor (330mm max, without shield covers). There is 383mm clearance for GPUs, which can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The expansion slots can be rotated, but an additional riser cable is required for the vertical orientation.
In a single system set-up, the modular fan and storage brackets can support up to seventeen fans or sixteen drives. Naturally, you can mix and match for a balance of cooling and storage hardware to support your needs. Plus, select brackets can support radiators.
The left and right sides of the extrusion can support two 120mm fans each, while the motherboard tray back panel can hold a single 120mm fan. On the front ledge, there are two brackets that each hold two 3.5” HDDs. Directly above this are dual brackets that can be used either for six 3.5” HDDs, up to six 120mm or four 140mm fans, a single radiator up to 480mm*, or dual radiators up to 360mm. On either side of the motherboard tray, there are identical brackets that can be used for water-cooling pumps, controllers, up to three 2.5” SSDs, up to three 120mm fans, or a radiator up to 360mm long. In the top left corner, there is a bracket for an ATX PSU.
*The brackets need reversing when using a 480mm or 420mm radiator.
Thanks to its spacious capacity and intelligent modular design, the Lian Li DK07 can support a dual-system gaming PC. A second motherboard tray is included and both mount on the bottom panel side-by-side, providing the same support for hardware as in the single system.
Naturally, this affects what cooling and storage hardware can be installed around the rest of the case extrusion. The left and right panels can still hold two 120mm fans each, but there are now two individual mounts for 120mm fans on the back panel as a result of there being two motherboard trays. Once again, the front ledge can support two lots of two 3.5” HDDs and the brackets above it can be used for the same array of radiators, fans, or storage drives as in the single system. As the two motherboard trays take up the entire bottom panel, there is no space for brackets here, but the trays themselves can support up to 2.5” SSDs each. In addition to a PSU mount in the top left corner, there is a second bracket for power supplies in the top right corner. Both support ATX PSUs.
Each system has its own I/O panel, located at the front of the desk on both the left and right. They both feature an individual power and reset button, with two USB-C, two USB 3.1 ports, and a mic/audio jack.
On top of all this, the Lian Li DK07 has some great features that make this a truly versatile desk case. The PC case portion of the desk takes up the middle section, leaving ample room for spacious drawers on either side. What’s more, these drawers come with optional organisers to keep your bits and pieces from sliding around. At the back of the desk, there is a cable tray to conceal any excess wiring and keep them off the floor. Plus, there are single- and dual-layer clips throughout the case interior and desk exterior to enhance your cable management.
On the right-hand side of the desk, there is a USB hub that also serves as a wireless charging point. When pressed into the desk, it can charge your compatible devices wireless. Alternatively, it can extend from the desk to reveal a USB Type-A and USB-C port.
