MANUFACTURER Lian Li

Lian Li has done it again! This time they have excelled in creating a functional yet stylish case and improving it even more. The Lian Li O11Dynamic XL Full-Tower combines brushed aluminium with tempered glass elements. The dimensions of the case are designed so that even the huge EEB ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme motherboard with Intel's C621 chipset and Socket 3647 for Xeon processors will fit with the assistance of an additional accessory (available separately). What Lian Li have retained here is the broad dual-chamber design, which offers plenty of space for high-end gaming components as well as excellent cable management options. The options open to users when it comes to air- or water cooling, it goes without saying, are second to none.

The Features of the Lian Li O11Dynamic XL Full-Tower:

  • Premium combination of aluminium, tempered glass and steel
  • Space for E-ATX-, ATX-, Micro-ATX- or Mini-ITX motherboards
  • 6x 2,5"-SSDs & 4x 3,5"-HDDs including HDD hot-swap functionality
  • Front panel with 4x USB 3.0 Type-A & 1x USB 3.1 Type-C
  • Graphics cards up to 44,6 cm long supported
  • Three slots for 360 mm radiators
  • Fits up to ten 120 mm fans

E-ATX Case with Premium Design: Brushed Aluminium Meets Tempered Glass

The modular Lian Li O11Dynamic XL Full-Tower combines steel with a tinted, tempered glass side panel for superb looks. Lian Li takes things one step further however, and equips the right side panel and roof with 1 mm thick aluminium. The front also includes stunning tempered glass to allow users an unobstructed view of the case's interior.

The right part of the front includes an I/O panel with a USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and both obligatory audio ports. Two additional USB 3.0 ports are located on the lower right part of the front section. In between the I/O panel and the tempered glass panel lies an attractive RGB-LED strip that stretches from top to bottom - the lighting of which can be controlled by means of two switches on the front panel. The RGB-LED strip can also be connected to a traditional 5VDG port on compatible motherboards.

Abundant Space for Gaming Hardware

The Lian Li O11Dynamic XL Full-Tower offers a tonne of space for powerful gaming hardware. Even the huge ROG Dominus Extreme EEB motherboard from Asus can be installed with the help of an additional accessory from Lian Li. Graphics cards can be up to 446 mm in length, with CPU coolers up to a height of 167 mm also fitting. An ATX form factor power supply can be installed in an upright orientation in the left side of the rear, power supplies up to 210 mm in length will fit.

When it comes to installing AiO- or custom water cooling, the case has got you covered - up to three 360 mm radiators can be installed simultaneously: one in the roof, one in the bottom and one next to the motherboard. The right side of the case includes air vents that help to better dissipate heat produced by your gaming hardware. If you install three 360 mm radiators at the same time, slim radiators should be used in the roof and next to the motherboard. Generally speaking however, a triple-radiator setup is an option here, although it will require close attention to detail when it comes to fitting everything and we recommend checking with the manufacturer beforehand, particularly when it comes to custom water cooling. The roof of the case provides space for a 280 mm radiator.

Superb Airflow

The radiator slots can of course be filled with fans if you prefer. At the side behind the front section, in the roof and on the bottom, up to three 120 mm fans will fit, and the roof / bottom of the case will support two 140 mm fans instead of three 120 mm fans. For clean and tidy cable management, multiple rubberised cable pass-throughs are available in places such as along the edges of where the motherboard will be seated. The right chamber of the case is where most of the cooler hardware that does not need a great deal of active cooling will go, such as the power supply and storage devices.

The Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL Full-Tower stands slightly raised atop rubberised steel feet, meaning that cool air is able to enter the case through the dust filter in the bottom. Thanks to the chimney effect, warm air travels upwards and consequently exits through the roof - which is also equipped with a dust filter. Two additional dust filters cover both perforated grilles in the right side section. The elegant Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL Full-Tower is not only a looker, it's more than capable of supporting some serious gaming hardware to make it perfect for PC gaming enthusiasts of all stripes, particularly where water cooling is on the agenda.

Massive Drive Capacity

In order to install all your storage devices, the case allows two HDD cages to be installed, meaning that four 3,5" HDDs or four 2,5" SSDs will fit. The four slots can be reached from the rear of the case, where they are covered by a perforated panel. Three 2,5" drives can be installed on the reverse of the motherboard tray. Additionally, three further 2,5" slots are available on a bracket to the fore next to the motherboard tray. The bracket can instead be installed on the bottom of the case, creating some space next to the motherboard for a radiator for example. In total, four 3,5"- and six 2,5" drives can be mounted.

Note: Those wishing to install their graphics card vertically in the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL Full-Tower can opt for the Lian Li O11D-1 expansion kit . This is the only kit compatible with the Lian Li O11Dynamic XL Full-Tower!. It includes a compatible slot bracket as well as a premium quality riser cable.

Excellent high end case

by Mike in London star star star star star

I've owned two of these cases, the first the normal size, and then the XL. It's a really well thought out case, with plenty of drive space, water cooling, etc.. It's not only a technically excellent case, but also a very beautiful one. These are by far the best cases I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few. Unbelievably good quality. I can't remember if I bought mine here or from a different supplier, but I've bought plenty at overclockers and they are a great supplier.

Overall A Good Case But Not Outstanding!

by Vidar star_border star star star star

I'd wanted one of these cases for a while after I saw them on YouTube. And finally, recently purchased one to replace my Phanteks 719 that was just too big for my small space. It's fairly well-built, with no sharp edges etc but for roughly 190 I'd have expected it to feel sturdier and more polished overall. It also lacks some additional features such as built in fan hub that I've come to expect from high-end cases like this. It certainly looks the part, but it just doesn't feel premium enough it's also smaller than I expected it to be. Overall I'm happy with it and will stick with it but it just doesn't feel like Lian-Li take the same level of pride in their product as a company like Phanteks do. The packaging, the foam, the manual and lack of accessories and just slight lack of attention to detail did not make me feel great. I keep harping on about Phanteks products but that's because it feels like they really take pride in what they do and their products despite using plastics etc feel distinctly more premium as a result.I'd love them to do case inspired by this!

Simply Amazing

by Richard star star star star star

Absolutely blown away by this tower, its like they have thought of almost everything. The case easily comes apart, take the lid off and the back panel and two tempered glass panels just effortlessly lift off... even though they are completely secure! The case has so much space!! Im not a big fan of water cooling mods, so I opted to run an AIO for the cpu and 7 Corsair QL120 fans using the commander pro and rgb nodes. Very happy with the temperatures and air flow (and noise levels). The case has magnetic dust filters everywhere and enough space for the biggest rads. With all the rgb fans I run, the amount of cables I have is a joke, but the case allows such easy cable management at the back, which is hidden. I also love how the PSU is hidden at the back too.Just for information:CPU: i9 9900KAIO: H150i RGB PRO XTPSU: Corsair RM850iMOBO: ASUS HERO XI (WiFi)RAM: 64gb Vengeance RGB pro DDR4GPU: ASUS 1070ti strix (Soon to upgrade).Would definitely recommend this tower for anyone contemplating! Go for it, you wont regret it.
