Lian Li has once again partnered with PCMR to update their fantastic O11 Series cases with the O11 Vision Compact. This chassis has been reduced in size from the dimensions of 464.5mm x 304mm x 480mm of the O11 Vision to just 446.4mm x 287.5mm x 447.5mm (HxWxD). The O11 Vision Compact still boasts ample space for your gaming hardware, with a 57.4L internal capacity, 167mm CPU cooler clearance, and room for GPUs 408mm long. Maintaining optimal thermals is easily accomplished, thanks to support for up to fourteen fans and multiple radiators. What’s more, the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact is an amazing choice for a showcase gaming PC, as it adds support for the latest hidden cable motherboards, passthroughs for concealing AiO tubes, and phenomenal cable management options. Additionally, the triple tempered glass panels offer an uninterrupted view of your prized gaming hardware.
The Lian Li O11 Vision Compact is a stylish addition to any gaming set-up, featuring 3-4mm thick tempered glass panelling on the front, side, and top. Each panel is crystal clear, delivering a 270-degree view inside your gaming PC from any angle. Alternatively, the top panel can be easily swapped out for a mesh model instead, increasing the cooling capabilities of the O11 Vision.
Each panel is held in place without any support pillars or columns, meaning your hardware and lighting will be visible from any angle. An innovative lock and key system is utilised instead. The front panel features the lock in its top left corner, whilst the top and side panels each feature a key in one of their corners. The keys slot into their lock, securely holding each panel in place against any bumps or knocks. These key locks are rated to support up to 35kg of force. That’s the equivalent of a small german shepard!
In addition to this, the O11 Vision Compact is fantastic at hiding your cables and pipes. This chassis adds support for the latest hidden connector motherboards, such as ASUS BTF models. Thanks to this, only cables for your GPU or cooling hardware need enter the main chamber of the case. Meanwhile, all other cables can be easily managed in the second chamber using the comprehensive cable clips and tie down points available. Additionally, Lian Li has included a large pass-through grommet at the top of the case, perfect for AiO pipes and allowing your radiator to be hidden in the second compartment. Next to this grommet, is a location to mount an IPS screen up to 8.8" wide, for that extra touch of visual style in your PC.
With the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, your PC can easily maintain peak thermal performance, thanks to the phenomenal cooling potential. The chassis base provides ample access to cool air, with a highly porous removable magnetic dust filter and a set of feet that raise the case away the surface it is positioned on. What’s more, this offers plenty of room for three 120mm cooling fans alongside a 360mm radiator.
Next to the motherboard tray is a side fan bracket, that can facilitate three 120mm fans allowing support for different cooling configurations. Moreover, this bracket is reversible, facilitating multiple configurations for your cooling hardware. As this frame is removable, installation of cooling hardware is simple. Mount your chosen hardware outside the chassis, then slot the bracket back in position and secure it with a thumb screw.
Although the default configuration of the O11 Vision Compact is three tempered glass panels, the top panel can be swapped out for a mesh panel. Doing this allows for extra cooling hardware to be installed. With a top mesh panel, the O11 Vision Compact can support either two 140mm fans or three 120mm fans, and a 280mm or 360mm radiator. In fact, the top of the case has a maximum clearance of 98mm, allowing for possible push/pull configurations without interfering with your hardware.
By making the O11 Vision Compact smaller, it can no longer support a radiator and fan combo mounted to the rear of the case. However, it still provides two mounting points for 120mm fans, perfect for exhausting hot air out of the chassis.
Although the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact is smaller than the original O11 Vision series, it still provides ample support for your gaming hardware. The 57.4 litre capacity can easily accommodate the largest components. For example, the main chamber of the O11 Vision Compact has clearance for a 167mm CPU cooler, perfect for facilitating even large dual-tower air coolers. Furthermore, with 408mm of clearance for graphics cards, the O11 Vision Compact can support an NVIDIA RTX 4090 comfortably. Furthermore, your GPU will be protected from sagging, as this case comes with a pre-installed adjustable anti-sag bracket.
Moving to the rear of the case, you have multiple options for your storage configuration. The removable cable management bar has two mounts for 2.5" SSDs. In addition to these, the O11 Vision Compact includes a drive cage for two 3.5" HDDs or two 2.5" SSDs at the base of the rear chamber. Alternatively, you can remove the drives sleds from the cage, freeing up more space for cable management. Above the drive cage is a centrally located mounting bracket for your PSU, like the one found in the full-sized Vision cases. This means that it protrudes 15mm outside of the case, allowing the O11 Vision Compact to support ATX power supplies up to 220mm long.
