Crossfire it!!!

This is one hell of a graphics card. Now if you buy one its own then thats fine, on its own it will run most games from medium to high quality at a fair resolution. But if you buy two and put them in crossfire you can run almost all games at max settings at a high resolution. The crossfire of this card is more powerful than a GTX 295, GTX 580, etc...

Amazing overclocker

This card is an amazing overclocker, I've overclocked mine to 900/1200 and it remains cool, which isn't surprising considering the cooler it uses, it's also quiet (I have set the fan speed at 45%)

Bought this badboy for 134.39, money well spent on all fronts next pay day I'll be buying a 2nd card for xfire goodness.

Below 30oC with the fan set at 45% which makes less noise that the Stock AMD fan, Also Overclocked this to max on CCC still no Temp changes :) glad I bought this over a 6850!

Stonking Value

Fast, well built and quiet and really good value for money.

This card replaced a Sapphire 4850 with the reference cooler. The MSI is a long card and double height which caused clearance problems with the SATA ports on my Asus P5K-E motherboard where the previous 4850 was fine. Right angled SATA cables still fouled on the heatpipes unfortunately.

Now crossfired two of these!

Previously had a XFX 5850 BE crossfired with one of these but it ran 15-20C hotter and the reference fan was noisier. Managed to sell that card and pick up a second one of these for a great price here on OcUK. Need a little voltage increase to get 900/1200 out of them in crossfire whereas the XFX card did 875/1200 on default voltages. Very happy with these especially as selling the XFX card + ~

I recently upgraded from an 8800GT to this. Frankly i'm impressed in every way i could be.

The HDMI output is fool proof and works perfectly with your average HDTV with very little configuration. The fans on the heatsink are incredibly quiet, even moreso than my 8800GT which was lauded as being a 'silent' graphics card. It runs pretty cool at stock which leaves plenty of room for overclocking if that's what you're into. Power consumption is also only marginally higher than the GTX460, a card that's popular for being efficient.

Now for performance, I haven't tested it much but every game i've thrown at it so far runs perfectly on maximum settings on my 720p HDTV, leaving plenty of headroom for higher resolutions.

My one complaint, and it's a small one, is size. It's a very long card and uses up two bays so even in the rather sizeable Antec p183, some shuffling of components had to be done to fit it in. Make sure you check how much space you have for it before you buy!

Cracking Card

For the price this card is fantastic, runs much better than my old 8800, can play all my games at full whack without any graphics lag, well worth the buy

Lives up to it's claims

Took delivery of one of these yesterday at a special price from OcUK.

Bought it to pair with my existing XFX 5850 Black Edition card in CrossfireX. It says on the packaging that it runs much cooler than the reference cooler. The XFX card has the reference cooler on it, and at idle the MSI card is at least 15-20c cooler. Very impressed with it so far. Just hope it being so much cooler doesn't cause issues with the load balancing between the cards.

Great card

Ordered it 3 days ago and today they lowered the price...oh well.

Crossfired with another sapphire 5850. Done some benchmarks. Heaven 2.1 almost doubled on scores from 680 to 1294 with max fps at 137.

Crysis at 1920x1080 and 16xQ AA average frame rate of 44. With AA off in gameplay im over solid 60.

This card is a bit bigger than my sapphire one so make sure you have space to fit it in.

Only slight disappointment was that there was no crossfire bridge which i think should be standard with every ATi card.

Ati have messed up 10.12 drivers and in overdrive clocks are lowered and screen flickers. Will get round to clocking both cards with MSI burner soon though.

Great buy for a low price.

Almost complete on my new build now :)

Excellent Card!

Bought this card before xmas. When it was on sale. For the price you can't beat it.

It's a nice upgrade from an ATI4850. Which i used for over two years.

Can max out all games now with this new beast.

Very happy... Cheers Overclockers!

Good Card

Bought this card just over a month ago as an upgrade for my 4890. It's a good card.

The fan design is nice and it's well built, and obviously does a better job than the reference design coolers. You can pay around
