Thumbs up from me

Delivery was again fantastic! You do pay for next day, but you really do get it quickly, and reliably!

This card is an upgrade to my Nvidia 8800GT and already I think it is fantastic.

The 8800GT was a very good card and has lasted me so well since I purchased back in 08.

Time for a small upgrade and this 460 does it well. So much less heat generated too!
This has brought my case temps down also.

The cooler is fantastic on this model and I have already had a stable clock to 800 on the core and 2000 on the memory.

Of course, even stock the card is much faster than the 8800GT. Not night and day mind, but for a small investment it keeps me playing the latest games on high detail.

Can't fault the card at this price. Packing was also top notch as usual, bubble wrap protecting the box etc.

Top effort OCUK!

Really quiet

I went for this mainly for the cooler & yes its cool and quiet. This is the same card as the ocuk gtx 460 but this as said has the better cooler and for

Excellent card

So far this card (Combined with a 4.4Ghz quad core) has taken every game I've thrown at it happily and I don't expect that to change any time soon. Extremely easy to overclock, mine is running at 835MHz core and 2100Mhz memory at the moment and is perfectly stable.

The fan is totally silent at low speeds and very efficient (If louder) at high speeds. With the card under 100% load for an hour running a stress test my card sits at 57 degrees, and that's overclocked. Excellent cooler design.

For the money, this really is an excellent bit of equipment. Highly recommended.

Great card

Only problem is that I now have a massive bottleneck from my q9550... (can't overclock due to RAM restrictions)

The card is lovely though, even with the bottleneck it runs crysis smoothly.

Onto volume though! It's silent! I mean literally silent. All my fans turn off when the rig is idle and with this fan on 25% I can't hear it unless it's the dead of night.

Strongly recommend this card if you're looking for a mid range gaming card.

Very good air-cooling solution.

Hi there,

I'm one of those people who likes small packages but with a big bang!
My current PC config consists of Asus Rampage II Gene mATX motherboard, Intel i7, 6GB of Corsair DDR3 and Antec TP-750. The main PC housing is air cooled by top quality 6x120mm Noctua fans.
The only problem with mATX boards is that the distance between PCI-E ports isn't good enough to provide sufficient airflow to video cards - especially in SLI mode (NVIDIA user 4ever!). I used to have 2xGTX260 OC from EVGA but the temps on both of them were going way above 80 degrees! causing computer to shut down and increasing temps of other MB components like NB & SB.
This Air Cooling solution provided by MSI allows me to use full potential of my Asus board. I got two of these bad boys. Unfortunately due to new technologies I'm also forced to change my power supply as 750W even though it's Antec won't be able to handle them in SLI + and my 3.6 Ghz CPU.

Really good card

I bought this to upgrade from a 8800gt.
Now, the 8800gt performed well in my system, everything maxed out at 1920x1200 but no AA (Farcry2 and Just Cause2). This MSI card went in, no problems, and straight away doubled my fps with 4xAA ! Amazing !!
I have a E6750 oc'd to 3.55ghz with a passive cooler. Temps for the cpu are 35c and 30c for the gpu at idle, 55c cpu and 45c gpu after an hour gaming. Not bad at all .
Very happy

Fantastic

Upgraded my old gainward 8800gt which has served me well, when it arrived i couldnt belive the small size of this card compared to my old one. very quiet can hardly hear it runing!with my q6600 its an awsome combination thank you overclockers delevery was spot on , just need an ssd to finish of the upgrade.

Insane for overclock

A nice little card, little being the best word to describe it. Its so nice to get a card that isn't over 300m long, better to install and also better airflow.

The main reason I bought this card was because it was highly rated for overclocking. I downloaded afterburner, and with a slight voltage increase, I have managed to increase the core to 890mhz, I am quite confident with a well cooled system this card could go past 900mhz.
Runs everything you can throw at it, a great purchase

Great card

had no problems with this one... played all the games i've thrown at it... quiet too!
