Has all the modern features that you would expect (PCI 4.0, Zen 3 support) but what I really like about this motherboard is the VRM performance for a mid-level card while fitting in a mATX case. The power delivery rivals many high end motherboards while costing significantly less. My Ryzen 9 3900x works great with this motherboard.
A Great "Bang-For-Your-Buck" Motherboard

I recently picked up the MSI MAG B550M BAZOOKA to be the motherboard for my Ryzen 5000 build. I chose it for a few key reasons: 1) Low cost: I run an mATX system, so don't need all the extra PCI express lanes and "unnecessary" extras that come from the higher range X570 boards. Therefore, a B550 chipset board made perfect sense, and this one manages to fit in everything you would need for a smaller form-factor build into one neat package. I purchased this board for ~120, a bargain given the plethora of features. 2) Overclocking Ready: The board includes a durable power phase (4+2+1) system which allowed me to get a nice little overclock on my Ryzen 5 5600X whilst keeping thermals in check thanks to the extended PWM heatsink. I used an aftermarket cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo), and, with the retrofitting kit, this was easy to install on the motherboard. 3) M.2 Storage: Has a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot for all my storage needs, plus a secondary PCIe 3.0 slot for future expansion 4) Nice, Neutral styling: The board has a black PCB, and silver accents around the board, making for a clean aesthetic that doesn't get in the way of any of my other RGB styling N.B. This board doesn't have Wi-Fi, so be sure to either have ethernet at the ready or a wireless card to hand! It also has a flash bios button, very useful for this transition period between Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series CPUs as a BIOS update may be needed to make the board Ryzen 5000 compatible. Overall, a very easy board to work with, with all the features you'd hope for in a mid/high-range motherboard for a fraction of the cost. Would definitely recommend this for any enthusiasts looking for a slightly cheaper AM4 motherboard, capable of anything you throw at it!
