Gaming wise been playing Warframe/Euro Truck Simulator 2/Xcom and Planetside 2

It handles them no problem, temp wise it reaches around 50C possibly maybe a little bit more but i have not seen it and with 4 fans in the case aswell generally keeps everything cool.

I havn't tweeked the game settings as much but it can run them with all high settings without breaking a sweat.

It is not overclocked and standard FPS is 60 with PS2 being the exception in large battles (96vs96) which can drop it to 30 but the change is not noticable and it runs fine and is able to handle it all and if PS2 gets more optimized which it does need then it can only get better.

Top notch GPU.

coil whine. noisy when overclockered.

The card is fast, cheap, looks great and is built well with a nice finish.
At idle and under 1080p loads this card is great. However.... The card suffers like many other cards from coil whine which can be irritating if you have be quiet everything and just ssds.
If you want to push the core to 1100mhz you're going to need 40% fan speed which is load as holy hell.
If you don't ever want to overclock it and just install and leave it forever it's an absolute steal.
I'd give it 8/10 as they should have fixed the cocking coil whine after six million generations of cards.

Ultra-competent GPU

I bought this card as I thought I had an issue with my Radeon 7770 2gb, as it kept crashing in complex scenes in Metro Last Light, and Serious Sam 3 on Linux.

So get the card, install it - Metro and SS3 playing very nicely in Linux. Then still crash. Oopsy.

That said, the performance increase is notable - Serious Sam 3 is nice and smooth (well north of 40fps no matter what happens) and Metro is very playable - 30+FPS in most instances.

Due to the crashing, I fired up a Windows instance and installed Metro on that - ooh, so much better. Stable, smooth, visually glorious (providing you turn off advanced PhysX, natch) - it rarely seems to drop below 45fps @ 1080p with everything max'd bar SSAA and Advanced PhysX.

It does make a bit of noise, but not enough to disturb me. And there are third party coolers for that sort of thing should you wish.
