Very Comfortable to use.

Having built many computers myself for my hobby, I can tell that this motherboard is quite reliable. It is a very solid build and aesthetically pleasing motherboard. There are some people who failed to update the bios successfully but it wasn't the case with me. I simply don't rely on ''all in one driver update'' software and so, manually selected the necessary drivers such as the chipset and usb drivers from the disk that came with the product first before I attempt to update my BIOS through USB memory stick. The old method of updating the BIOS does work but just in case, I updated one version by one. There are plenty of features and pros on this motherboard except few warnings to anyone looking to buy this one.

1) When you plugin your mouse to the first two so called gaming usb slots, you may notice the mouse pointer is smoother moving around (2% noticable) and responsive but, if you are using two gaming mice at the same time like I do, you may or may not encounter a problem where the driver for the mice doesn't work properly especially during the game. For example, I use Roccat Kone XTD and Logitech G502 mouse but my Kone XTD stopped working/erased some of the button assignment during the game (so far noticed on Supreme Commander) which forced me to restart the pc. On the other hand, the logitech one is working perfectly fine. I need to add that Roccat Tyon doesn't work right on these usb slots too (this mouse was much noticable). My mice did work fine on my previous build perfectly well but this first two slots can be a good one or a bad one for you depending on the mouse you use. USB 3.0s are all fine. I haven't tested with my keyboard on these slots yet.

2) If you have 4790K CPU on this motherboard, I'd suggest you not to overclock so much if you overclock your memory as well. For example, I overclocked the turbo core to 4.6ghz while I set my memory to 2400mhz from 2133mhz model and the windows booted fine but as soon as you do some daily operations (that includes skype by the way) the BSOD appeared. Though, if you set your memory profile to XMP, then there is no issues. I set mine to 4.4ghz (4790K turbo core is actually 4.2ghz when all cores are used) and the memory to 2400mhz. It is rock solid.

Having said all that, I'd say one of the most reliable features of this motherboard which I believe, goes to the SATA ports. No disk controller errors and it works fast with SSDs attached. Also, the Super Ferrite Choke (SFC) is very solid as well. The additional audio features (I think it was around 114dB SNR?) are attractive too. And the 'Try memory' feature in the BIOS will let you know how much your memory is capable for overclocking which is quite useful if you'd like to know the limit of your RAMs. And lastly, the doorknob hanger is a must have for any MSI lovers!!!!

I am thinking of getting another one. I don't know why but I'd love to keep another one.

I suggest you to get this motherboard as soon as possible before the stock last. i mean, NOW!

Great Board

Not a bad looking board and if your into overclocking this board preforms just as well as more expensive ones. The onboard sound is very good

Ordered this motherboard on the 5/10/2014 and was very simple to set up and install. Supports everything you could possibly need and has lights all over it. heatsink msi lights up, audio path lights up, hd activity and power leds on board also. Also has option to plug audio part of board directly into power supply for more stable on board sound very classy well built and feature rich z97 board would recommend to anyone.
