Space for Hardware, Data Storage and Cooling
The Lian Li PC-Q38's compact dimensions offers space for Mini-ITX motherboards and and in doing so aims to compete with smaller systems without compromising on a robust level of performance. Data storage devices are mounted on a bracket which accepts a 3,5" and two 2,5" drives. Directly between the front and the drive bay bracket is an area alloted for the installation of an SFX-format power supply, one which can be as long as 140 mm. The power connector is extended to the outside via a cable and the connection is located on the rear of the case. Graphics cards up to 315 mm in length and CPU coolers up to a height of 140 mm can be installed.
In regards to system cooling, the user can opt for either two optionally available 120 mm fans in the roof or even a 240 mm All-in-One cooler that can be mounted in place of the fans. Thanks to the air intakes integrated into the roof, rear, right side and bottom, airflow is excellent and the installed hardware receives efficient and effective cooling.
